Why hotel workers? That's not "hard" work. Long hours maybe, but I know there's tons of Americans who would jump at the chance if the pay was right. I don't agree with this for farm work either, but there's an argument to be made that seasonal out in the blistering heat manual labor is going to be a tough sell with Americans no matter what it pays. In construction there's anecdotes from contractors claiming even when they raise the pay they have a hard time getting people to come and work a full schedule. Hotel cleaning and maintenance? Blatant fucking scam if they're claiming nobody will take those jobs.
Socialism is nepotism on grand scale. Tax the productive and subsidize the failures. In the short term it feels like a good idea, especially when reinforcing your group against competitive outside groups, but over time it becomes dysgenic. You can take care of your people but you need balance and something that cures social diseases instead of just treating the symptoms.

Teachers can't be trusted period. At this point if the "sex ed" material is that important for students to know, why doesn't the school just point them to an educational pamphlet or say "Here is a video lesson. If you have any questions ask ChatGPT." The end. The parents can review it ahead of time. What the heck do they need a live instructor in a class for? I can apply that to many topics but particularly sex ed.

Yeah that's why I didn't even bother looking at the tweet unless someone had presented proof of "jailbreak" prompts. It's a non-starter without that. Unfortunately most people would rather believe what they want to believe.

What I'm more curious about is why you would need to program overrides in the form of "I know X but I'm gonna say Y" instead of just "say Y". Kinda sus. Maybe someone can explain why that works better though.
In all these claims we need to see the person's jailbreak prompt(s) before believing it.
It also means they plan to send your data to Mossad-backed identity management firms and Palantir to store in their global person databank. If that wasn't the goal there are tons of technical and less-technical alternative solutions.
