... given the efficacy - or lack thereof - demonstrated by mRNA vaccines I would submit that a hold on anything mRNA while the discrepancy between what was sold and what was delivered is in order.

But no, let's just throw DNA changes at people until we get Chaos Daemons, I guess...

Because they're hegemonic totalitarians.

They believe that they can force us to be "better people", and that it's their almost-religious duty to make this happen.

No dissent will be tolerated, because their actual principles - such as they are - are so weak that they collapse like wet cardboard if they're ever exposed to scrutiny, however, to a post-modern authoritarian like we see here, all this means is that every space must be conquered so that it spreads the word, so that at no point is anybody allowed to scrutinise this defunct philosophy that they protect with religious fervour.

Eh, it's French, so there's a decent chance the ultimate source of power is nuclear.

Got to say, though, the charge \ discharge cycle on a metropolitan bus has got to be pretty brutal. .Damn thing's running all day.

Of course. But nobody would join up if they admiitted that.

Remember, a communist's first trick is to try and convince you that communism is the way of the world, that it's inevitable.

They respond selfishly

So does everybody else. It's only a problem when your intention is to take anything you can away from white people without any kind of exchange they'd undertake voluntarily.

because they will "have sex anyway, better if they are safe"

What, in pre-school?

While I don't agree with Imp about everything ... or much ... a fed?

If he was a Fed he'd be a bit smarter about copping all of those bans, would he not?

Specifically he was fired for "pushbacks", the practice of returning would-be immigrants to their country of origin. The EU deems this unlawful if this would place the would-be immigrant at risk.

However, it then blithely asserts that all of the recent immigrants are Syrian. This has been documented not to be correct - large numbers state they are Syrian, but most of the time investigation reveals this to be untrue.

I understand that demographically, it's mostly actually young Iranian men adventuring abroad.

Trivially easy to disprove - just go pull up the Obama government's manifesto promises on borders, compare to the modern DNC's position.

Honestly, the guy's got a pretty low bar to clear, given how bad the prior executive team was, doesn't he?

Or are we doing the utopian "perfection or nothing" thing that so characterises the Marxist left?

APDSmith 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed. In this context "lost" would be required for this to even be of interest, I'd submit, rather than merely "faced".

All "faced" requires is a solicitor immoral enough (but I'm repeating myself) to file frivolous litigation.

Rosellene Bronstein said the school never told her that Nate had requested a meeting with his dean over the alleged Snapchat bullying.

These are the people who want to supplant the family, cheerfully allowing one of their charges to get to a state where they commit suicide, because they were either busy or simply didn't care.

That's not underemployment, that's the future they chose

Note the firms the complaints are about: Starbucks, Amazon - these are the same big firms pushing the narrative they have embraced.

They've come out of university with their useless degrees and masses of debt, such that they are now compelled to go find even a bad job. And, oh boy, do Starbucks and Amazon have bad jobs for you.

These people will own nothing and they will hate it.

Well, yeah, but sometimes you need a git in your corner.

My wider point was that all of the methods of measuring the economy have some deficiencies. GDP is simply the one that has the most people comfortable with it's deficiencies.

APDSmith 7 points ago +7 / -0

To paraphrase Churchill, GDP is the worst economic measurement.

Apart from all of the others.

Come back to me in a decade and see if you're still supporting your parents. Best be putting all that money you're making to one side, because at the moment your main qualification appears to be that you are 19 and that shit doesn't last...

Is that for anything more than the time he refused - as required by law - to hire illegal immigrants for classified aerospace work?

It's a fair point, but I would point out that Epic was directly taking money away from Apple.

Twitter isn't, at least not directly, so it may be a bit more difficult to justify to shareholders.

OK, I have a question:

Is there anything that trans activists do that a child sex rape gang would not also do?

APDSmith 16 points ago +16 / -0

It's not even like they have any assets you can come back at legally, they're generally living hand-to-mouth anyway.

Whatever the authoritarian faction in your country calls itself, they've been trying for decades to get people to surrender their civil liberties. A lot of the "green" stuff is mostly just rampant authoritarianism with a veneer of shouting people down by saying they are killing the planet.

With Covid, a lot of authoritarians found something that, by and large, worked - and they are desperate to return to the heady days of 2020 when you could say "because quarantine" and people would just do as they were damn well told.
