WH40k coming to Amazon

So, anybody taking bets on which team Amazon's going to let have this one?

We have whomever was responsible for stuff like season one of Reacher ... or, frankly, most of the rest of Amazon.

Nothing but a malicious propaganda outlet

Why else would a Democrat want to fund it?

Yep, me as well. Funny, the recap shows I use virtually bugger all Reddit if you taken the verboten stuff out...

Oh, they can, quite easily:

People who disagree with me are no longer people and no longer have the rights of people

See how simple that was?

This is one of the things that annoys me about UK climate activists.

China is building this year alone more polluting industry than in the history of my country. If you, the climate activist, really want to make a difference, I await your plan for the invasion and conquest of the PRC - because they're not going to stop if asked nicely, are they? - and expect you, the climate activist, to take your place on the front lines.

Was the specification for the sign "How can a make a national celebration about me?"?

staring persistently

Dear lord they're going to make the 1,000-yard-stare punishable with jail time.

Also, how are we to prove this? Is it just going to be a woman asserting that she was being stared at, off to the cells with you unless you can prove you weren't physically there?

Exactly!

Now if only they'd been stunning and brave enough to have the lead be a trans disabled Mexican illegal immigrant, and maybe had Connor sodomised to death to really drive home their disdain for the old, problematic audience, there's no limit to how much money they could have made!

Note the cute trick AP pull:

focused on child exploitation, hate speech

They certainly did focus on "hate speech", because that's the modern tyrant's bludgeon of choice. They've grouped CP in there because that's the one people care about, even though Trust and Safety were all but aiding and abetting the distribution of CP.

OK, two things:

  • The guy from NPC Seattle isn't a journalist - he's a propagandist. You can tell this because due to a political disagreement:
  • He doesn't even think you are human, much less a fellow journalist.

The thing is, this accuse-others-of-being-what-you-are has been a default leftie tactic for so long that it's kind of losing it's power. See "You racist!"

Also, an informed public is a threat to democracy? That comment reveals a lot about how they think governance should work...

three-day-a-week intensive program for depression

If I thought this was actually going to be a purely psychological thing, I might not mind so much. However, given how thoroughly lefties fail to keep their politics out of anything I'm thinking this will end up looking like Clockwork Orange...

Note the building times on the older buildings vs the new buildings. The new ones are gigantic barns to house or amuse the serf class globalists are busy building.

As entrenched conservative interests in their 19th-century nations prevent modernizing reforms—you know, like abolishing slavery

So, let me get this right, this person thinks the 19th Century was characterised by resistance to abolishing slavery.

... Allow me to introduce you to the foremost organisation leading the charge to abolish slavery in the 19th Century: The British Empire

In matters of libel I wouldn't take the opinion of a UK court to any degree, even before their verdict in this matter.

While British judges have been reined in since the early 2000s when they were issuing proclamations that nobody on the planet was to besmirch the reputation of litigants they're still only better than they were. That's not a high bar to clear.

Short summary: An MP in Trudeau's Liberal Party had introduced some last-minute - to the point of being introduced after the Canadian Parliament can change it - changes to the C-21 Canadian firearms bill - that add a raft of firearms to the list to be banned, some apparently for no reason other than the Liberal MP Paul Chaing doesn't like them.

Because this has happened after debate time, it's now only possible to pass the bill including this amendment or discard the entire thing.

I suspect that's the intention, to railroad the Canadian Parliament into passing a sweeping ban rather than nothing.

Here in the UK we've reached the point where the populace largely can't be bothered with it any more - with exceptions, quite a few Oriental types ("Asian" means something slightly different in Britain) do seem to wear masks when out, if you're going to hospital for some reason then, yes, mask, but other than that, no. It's no longer required on public transport, for instance; it takes quite a bit to get Brits marching in the street - though that's happened over this as well - you're far more likely to find quiet noncompliance once people have reached the point of just being done with it.

That really depends on how you define "better", does it not?

The Saturn V's Rocketdyne F-1 main engines were exactly what they were designed to be - honking great rockets that guzzled fuel and threw out noise, light and plenty of thrust. But they were not efficient compared to what is available today.

The Shuttle's RS-25's still put out plenty of power and they offer almost 50% extra specific impulse.

That said, yes, destroying the plans was utterly idiotic.

Computer power equivalent to an Atari, a fuckton of money, and 1960s standards for safety.

I mean, we could do it today, but our truly inspiring politicians (I'd say what they inspire but I'm fairly sure it's not allowed, so we'll settle on "scorn, defiance, slight regard, contempt and anything that might not misbecome me") would much rather take the money themselves, would they not?

The thing is, that is technically correct. There are exemptions to the First Amendment, otherwise you would not be able to sue to libel, for instance.

But this isn't that.

As far as they are concerned?

Literally anybody wearing a MAGA hat...
