Between this and that horrid update that rendered party chats impossibly complicated, they are systematically tanking their market presence in the US. Sony will lose to the xbox/ PC crowd due to this and possibly move the way of Sega.
There's that, the update that hid everyone's vita/ps3 purchases, the PS5 preorder clusterfuck, and now this. Sony is making awful, shortsighted decisions on rapid fire lately. They're growing irreversibly out of touch with users and reality in general.
I certainly hope this happens. I'm getting really tired of all this communist/SJW BS. I'd like for the Japanese branch to seeze control, but I'd be perfectly content to watch Sony go Tango Uniform because of this.

So far the way Doom Eternal is running on my new PC build has made the higher price worth it, also don't need a subscription to play online, so yeah this is loads better.

Series X for me it is. Tired of this pandering trash. I would upgrade my PC but I need to upgrade my motherboard, gpu, and get a new tower etc. Plus I hate being stuck in an office while I could be in the living room with my family. Sad because the PS5 had some great features with the controller etc.
