They genuinely must have written something in their code which says "remove all instances of .win, everywhere on Reddit, under every & all circumstances." and it's causing strange issues to crop up.
I tend to agree. They will need to learn by experience. I'm not going to try and force that experience on them, but they need to take the initiative for themselves to leave.
Letting the user base grow organically is the best course of action, imo. I think KiA2.win is already starting off extremely well and I find the UI tone much better then Saidit, so I wouldn’t worry about activity disappearing.

The .win setup isn't already setup for a censorship spiral in four months after it inevitably gets a few articles attacking it.
