I was playing Cybergoy 2077 recently and there was a legit tranny flag plastered on the back of a car that I have to race for a sidequest. I know what's going to be in this slop. They can price it whatever they want, I'm not buying it.
Yeah and the "girl" who owns the car is a dude whose hubby was killed by the main antagonist of the race. CDPR tried to portray this as neutral as possible in terms of writing but it was pretty funny to me when i decided to ///well, spoilers i guess/// not to pursue the main antagonist at the end and just finish the race (letting him live) xer lost it and went ballistic at me like a woman would have.
I had a suspicion it was a tranny. I havent finished the quest but that was at the back of my mind. I might not even waste time with that one in that case.
That game is the classic example of DEI money overplayed on a game made by weebs and men. I can see the original intent with attractive women and blade runner vibes, then I see faggotry and very few attractive females anywhere.
Well, it's on the nose, i guess we just didn't want to admit it. The quest is nothing special, races are scripted and boring but you might catch a giggle if you decide to screw xer over at the end.
And yeah, this coulda been a cool little quest. A small Need For Speed/Fast and Furious questline where you ride the car and the girl. What a mess...
They locked one of the fastest cars behind the endings where the other racer doesn’t get killed. Legitimately, the manthing is so stupid. His boy toy died in a fucking Death Race! At least you can legitimately tell him that to get the better ending.
Perhaps a hot take, but I refuse to pay more than sixty dollars for a video game. If the rapidly failing industry is going to start trying to squeeze people for their increasingly terrible product, then I sincerely hope that more and more people start outright pirating.
$60 used to be fine when the quality was higher and you could expect more actual content for your purchase, but they've been steadily cutting corners and shaving off pieces of the game to sell back to customers as DLC. Remember how costumes and character colors used to be things you just unlocked by playing the game? Yeah, now every one of those is a $5 transaction.
I cannot remember the last time that a AAA game actually delivered enough to warrant its price point. Plenty of games from smaller devs have stepped up and given me worthwhile products for my money, but the industry juggernauts are all slowly sinking into the ocean of dross.
pretty ballsy of Kikestar to think goyim will just shell out around a 100 euros for a shitty DEI game made by pajeets but we are not the target audience of this game... Niggers are
they know niggers will use their gibsbuck cards (EBT) will just buy it regardless of its price, its DLC practices or even the microtransactions that will infest the online portion of the game (if it even gets an online mod upon release)
all i'm saying, they should continue to outjew their hand, it will make all the normalfags who are not niggers (or on gibsmedat) to think twice if this pezzo di merda is worth buying
its DLC practices or even the microtransactions that will infest the online portion of the game (if it even gets an online mod upon release)
I'd actually be surprised if they didn't go with the CoD model where single player is nothing but a bare bones chaser for their online slop mode. GTA Online turning out to be a money printer was likely a paradigm shifter. They tried to replicate it with Red Dead Online and killed that game when they failed, but they'll surely try again.
I'm honestly baffled how they fucked up red dead online. The had a golden goose and made it into a kebab. I know they tried to oy vey the players by setting up exorbitant in game prices and then "reducing" them after "player feedback" as if this wasn't on purpose but surely that wasn't the only reason why the mode didn't catch on?
It didn't catch on because it was awful all the way around.
If you wanted to do anything in the game or follow any career quests it required REAL money. They started you with some gold bricks and you could earn some gold bricks in game, but it was a pittance of a reward (something like 0.14 gold bricks for completing a mission, but you needed 20 gold bricks to actually start a career path quest).
They basically locked everyone out of doing anything unless you paid exorbitant fees just to do basic career quests. It was pants-on-head retarded and the most jew-level wankerer one could imagine.
After realising that I would never be able to do any of the career quests without throwing a ton of real life cash at the game (or grinding incessantly), I just logged out. I tried one more time but then some hackers were in the game and they could steal what little gold you accrued -- so the barely one bar of gold I did acquire the previous time I played was stolen by hackers who were going around and killing people with lightning bolts at the campfires.
The whole thing was a mess.
But you're right, if it were just an open-world sandbox Wild west game where you could choose to be a criminal or a bounty hunter and emergently interact with other players with a dynamic economy, it would have been a huge hit. But Jew-Two Interactive decided it was better to fleece gamers at every single turn so there was nothing you could do that didn't require real world cash. Pretty much killed it on the spot.
In some (many) cases a cash stipend is included along with a food allowance. The idea is it's to be used for essential non-food items like toothpaste and toilet paper. In practice it can be used for anything. Also it's trivial to sell your food benefits for cash.
You'd think that was the case, but no. It's usually a single mother, or couple cohabitating. They usually lie to the government about the male being present. So they'll get say, $800 a month in EBT. Then use multiple government services claiming she's alone in the house and raising the kid alone. This gets nearly all her bills paid more or less by the gov.
Now, since the couple's bills are paid, they'll use SOME of the EBT for food. They will then sell the other half or more for .50c on the dollar. Turning their scam into more money for drugs and whatnot.
That's if they are stupid. GTA 6 is one of those unique games to be released so trying to use that as a benchmark for your pricing would dead on arrival other games.
Especially when AAA has lost most of it's luster..
Borderlands 4 I think tried and then stepped it back. but AAA pubs need to go full retard. Charge 100 euro for a game and watch it tank.
We need more Concords and whatever that other game was Geoff Keighley was pimping like it was his daughter being offered to a Pakistani rape gang. Let them all fail and fail hard.
We need more bankruptcy in the entertainment industry.
Good, I think they should make it $200 for the base edition and $500 for the collectors edition. The more damage this piece of shit does the sooner the AAA slophouse dies.
I have a feeling the game is going to suck anyway. Not just a feeling by the way because it's based on how powerful people want to co-opt every single popular video game series for propaganda purposes and to demoralize. And how they want to ruin things out of spite. And based on how the gaming industry is full of DEI hires, SJWs, women who were hired simply because men want to fuck them, people who literally despise gamers, boomers who don't know anything about video games and nepo babies.
I think the game will be rough purely due to how long the development cycle has been. No way there aren’t serious quality drops when playing in different areas or quest lines based on when it was made.

I hated that quest so much…

Yeah, to be honest 60 is too much already.
$60 used to be fine when the quality was higher and you could expect more actual content for your purchase, but they've been steadily cutting corners and shaving off pieces of the game to sell back to customers as DLC. The games worth playing are usually under $40 because they're either indie or decades old.
It's the first gaming generation I've encountered that consoles have gotten more expensive mid-cycle instead of less with slim-model refreshes.
what the fuck, 90 euros for the BASE GAME??!

I thought EBT was just for food. Are they supposed to eat the DVD?

This is going to set the price floor for some AAA games to be $90 base edition going forward while still gatekeeping the full game to $120-200.

I mean….
I know, it's as obvious as asking if a girl with a septum ring has mental issues....
Good. They need to do this.

honestly i'm all for AAA garbage destroying its own sales revenue with another price hike
all the worthwhile games are being sold at 50 euros at launch while the garbage is sold at 70-80 (which only a small % actually buys)
Good, I think they should make it $200 for the base edition and $500 for the collectors edition. The more damage this piece of shit does the sooner the AAA slophouse dies.
And then a subscription plan to access gta online 2.

I look forward to the Joe Biden analog calling the Trump caricature a one-term loser. That's how fucking long this game took to develop.
And the plebs will consoom it without question.
The retard tax is undefeated.
They should give that game away just because let's not act like they make the real money off game sales.
I'm not convinced I want it at all anyway if it was $10.
This release is going to be a turning point.
Either it flops, or it rakes in millions and starves all competitors. Either way the AAA industry is cooked. More layoffs incoming regardless.
Neat, but why would I want to buy the game at all to begin with?
Why would you buy a buggy game at release to begin with, rather than waiting for it to get bugfixes and a 75% Steam discount?
I miss when the game was the game and that's it.
