This is going to set the price floor for some AAA games to be $90 base edition going forward while still gatekeeping the full game to $120-200.
That's if they are stupid. GTA 6 is one of those unique games to be released so trying to use that as a benchmark for your pricing would dead on arrival other games.
Especially when AAA has lost most of it's luster..

Borderlands 4 I think tried and then stepped it back. but AAA pubs need to go full retard. Charge 100 euro for a game and watch it tank.

honestly i'm all for AAA garbage destroying its own sales revenue with another price hike
all the worthwhile games are being sold at 50 euros at launch while the garbage is sold at 70-80 (which only a small % actually buys)
