This is one of the things I feel sorry for in places like Australia and Canada, there seems to be no political way to just vote to stop it.

I flatly refuse to be more 'racist' than 'homophobic'. For instance, I wouldn't vote for a homosexual, transsexual, etc. just because he is anti-immigration (like the late Pim Fortuyn or the current Alice Weidel). Plenty of other people would, but I dismiss them as fundamentally misguided: unable to see that this is fundamentally a moral struggle, i.e. most people are fine with mass immigration because any moral person would see it as a backstab, an invasion, etc., whereas immoral people have no in-group preference and will throw each other under the bus when expedient.
