I flatly refuse to be more 'racist' than 'homophobic'. For instance, I wouldn't vote for a homosexual, transsexual, etc. just because he is anti-immigration (like the late Pim Fortuyn or the current Alice Weidel). Plenty of other people would, but I dismiss them as fundamentally misguided: unable to see that this is fundamentally a moral struggle, i.e. most people are fine with mass immigration because any moral person would see it as a backstab, an invasion, etc., whereas immoral people have no in-group preference and will throw each other under the bus when expedient. There is practically zero chance that this idiot will do anything that ON voters want him to do, and a strong chance that he'll simply defect to another party or go independent soon, which will simply prove yet again the backstabbing, treacherous nature of such people.

I agree that he'd be just nominally Muslim, not religiously Muslim. You're also correct in that Indonesians are noticeably more 'homophobic' than 'Australian' Muslims. You wouldn't get someone like Fatima Payman spewing her nonsense in Indonesia outside of the far fringes (of course, Indonesia is also quite liberal on abortion, so it isn't really 'based'), whereas 'Australian' Muslims are fine with voting for her and her non-Islamic, Leftist political party, 'Australia's Voice'.

The attitude is like this: 'As long as they're not Muslim and come legally, I don't care how many there are as long as they don't all show up overnight.'
