I'd say be aware of ALL elections and institutions you can affect. A lot of things seem boring or small but getting in a new police chief, mayor or whatever at a local level is just as important as the national elections.
That and talking with people, can't tell you how many realised the bs of the left after just chatting friendly with them.

step 1 is fedposting, but step 0 is grouping up and making friends to begin with. lone wolves don't get much done. you need 20 core trustworthy guys who'd give their lives for each other and who are all talented in some domain or other, only then can you start amassing even more and really getting around to much of anything else.

Why is the answer always to go straight to fed posting? Have you tried to get a network or community of like minded people first? To be converted by the love and mercy of Our King Jesus Christ and follow His teaching. When we are on that path, we will show His teaching to others through the witness of our lives, and we can start standing up for Him and His Teaching. Standing up for the moral law that God instituted in our world.
More practically, the answer lies in conversion of our hearts. Fighting against the enslavement of sin, which for many men of this age starts with fighting against lust and embracing chastity. Lust, after all, darkens the mind. Why do you think the way of our immoral secular world is a normalization of pornography, masturbation and fornication? It's certainly not for our benefit, despite whatever the Evil One might whisper to us. Of course, we cannot do it by ourselves, so we should pray to our Lord to ask for the grace to overcome sin. We should pray for wisdom so that we may discern between right and wrong, of where we should focus our energies to serve Him. And surrendering our will to Him.
Next week is Holy Week. The week we commemorate the Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, culminating in His Resurrection and victory of death itself. What better time is there then to turn our hearts to Our Lord?
