He's always been bad on 2A. He tried to ban bump stocks, and Bondi is big time gun grabber.

Bump stocks are something I'd almost support a ban of for being so shitty if automatic weapons were deregulated.

It's something I noticed with the left especially, they'll point to any contradicting statement by their opposition and regardless of if it's hypocrisy or misspeak, take the worst interpretation.

....Even if they support that worse interpretation. They love to try and trap their opponents within their own morals and rules but them? They'd justify child endangerment if they get a paycheck after.

No it shouldn’t, but forgive me if I have extreme protester fatigue. Yea injecting yourself into the situation shouldn’t get you killed but my sympathy is strained when I think of the ones killed by illegals that the media doesn’t care about but these people are seen as some heroes. George Floyd got the hero treatment too. So while I agree that they shouldn’t have labeled this dude that way, forgive me if my compassion is strained. Something I know I need to pray about

Stop thinking in terms of morals and ideals. Those protesters hate you and would laugh at your death. If ICE lined them up against the wall for a bullet rain it would be a good thing. They shouldn’t be defended at all in any way shape or form. They aren’t you, they aren’t your family, they aren’t your friends. They won’t hold your principles but will use the against you if you dare strike back at them.

We're all fallen. When I heard the American right complain about Randy Weaver or the Branch Davidians, I didn't care much and assumed they deserved it because they were weird people. But the right said: it doesn't matter how weird they are, or if the leader was molesting kids there, they shouldn't be shot or burned to death by out-of-control authorities.

I guess I thought they were being sincere. Or maybe they were at the time.

The thing to keep in mind about Waco is that the government used allegations of child molestation to justify burning those same children to death along with their families. Shooting a guy who was physically trying to stop an arrest isn't even near the same ballpark as the evil that happened at Waco.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Smith1980 2 points 146 days ago +2 / -0

Yes I’ve said that about the Waco situation. I said that shooting looks bad and injecting yourself into the situation isn’t smart but shouldn’t be a death sentence. That being said it does annoy me that thee fools are so protective of the murderer or rapists that ICE is trying to arrest or they see immigration enforcement as a grave evil. This is why I have protester fatigue. Also the victims of illegal aliens get very little coverage in this country but people like you are wringing their hands over this guy who shouldn’t have been shot but chose to be a moronic zombie protester. Reminds me of blm with all the black ppl who get gunned down in cold blood but let’s make a hero out of Floyd and Michael brown who were too stupid to listen to simple instructions.

So while I agree that resisting or getting in their faces isn’t wise, it shouldn’t be a death sentence you can forgive me for having protester fatigue and wishing this outpouring of empathy went to more deserving victims

Basically where I'm at, I hate all supporters of immigration and want them executed, but that doesn't mean I'll defend stupid and sloppy shootings just because the victim was someone who deserved it. The execution(no pun intended) is worthy of critique because the shooting had nothing to do with who he was, only how he acted in the moment. I want executions, not failed arrests that are inches away from being a friendly fire incident.

So yea I get your concern about out of control authorities but the fatigue still exists for me. Over the years I’ve grown sick and tired of protesters and people who care more about criminals than their victims. Like the guy ICE was there to arrest had a long rap sheet but those people chose to try and protect him.

I can have two thoughts. That it was a bad shoot and that I’m tired of people confronting ICE. Also can understand that I need to pray about it

Is he? Let's say he is. How is that remotely relevant to what happened?

You can legally have a gun but you will get shot.

That makes no sense. So if you're an "idiot" you'll get disarmed and shot in the back?

Sry but after Charlie Kirk I don't care about leftists getting shot.

So you're no better than the left (most of whom DIDN'T say that they didn't care about CK being shot)? You were opposing people getting shot in the street to do the left a favor?

At least do yourself a favor. Do you think the left is now greatly benefiting from the people being retarded over Charlie Kirk? Cheering or ostentatiously "not caring" about this does no benefit to the right, and only galvanizes the right. Or don't, that's OK too. Wouldn't want to be called a "concern troll" when I'm beyond care or concern for the suicidal tendencies of the American right, like a friend to someone who is so deep into drug addiction that there is no saving him.

Having a gun in a confrontation with an officer is dangerous. It was not justified to get shot but it was still dangerous and stupid.

So you're no better than the left (most of whom DIDN'T say that they didn't care about CK being shot)

He may have been the dumbest person in human history, but it's not relevant to this situation. It's the officers who acted wrongly. They disarmed him before they killed him. The gun is not remotely excusing (or for whatever reason you bring it up).

The vile things said about Charlie Kirk death had hundreds of thousands to millions of upvotes. Hard sell that the majority aren't horrible people.

They may be horrible people, but "millions of upvotes" (even if true) doesn't establish that. Most people are not Very Online.

And let's be real. If we go by social media, the majority of people on the right are horrible people too, and not (just) because of this.

And I'm not celebrating his death I just don't care.

Why? You think performatively 'not caring' does your side any good? "I don't care" is just the right-wing vice-signaling version of left-wing virtue-signal of "I'm a very caring person".

I've yet to see anything close to the left. Not even in the same ballpark. From calling anyone right of Mao nazis, that we need to put anyone voting with Trump in camps, cheering on white genocide, defending rapists and murderers, to bold face lies again and again. No thank you, I'm completely rejecting your premise.

Why? You think performatively 'not caring' does your side any good? "I don't care" is just the right-wing vice-signaling version of left-wing virtue-signal of "I'm a very caring person".

No. For the left is a lie for me is truth. I don't care he died because he was stupid doing stupid thing from a mob of people that are pro mass migration. I don't celebrate his death, I don't think he should have died as redeption is always on the table but that is where my caring ends. He wants genocide of white people via mass migration, he wants the destruction of US and hated everything about it, why would I care about his death?

Why would me and millions like me caring have any impact on an extremely polarized society? Why should I find common ground with open-border marxists that want to trans children and remove white people from society?

The lie that there is a middle ground died with Charlie Kirk.

that we need to put anyone voting with Trump in camps

Who said that?

to bold face lies again and again.

I've seen no bald-faced lies like the ones by the administration on this matter. Certainly, there have been more damaging lies, but assassin, domestic terrorist, approached brandishing a gun trying to stage a mass casualty event? That's when there is video...

You may say "it's OK they're lying because it's about a leftist". But I'm not OK with being lied to about anyone.

genocide of white people via mass migration, he wants the destruction of US and hated everything about it...trans children and remove white people from society

Does vice-signaling make it more likely or less likely that this will happen? You're a good guy, but sometimes partisanship gets the better of you, as with Epstein where IIRC you were blaming the Democrats for Trump suppressing the files. You won't persuade the left, but proudly being terrible people has the same effect on others (including persuadables in the middle) as your litany (calling anyone right of Mao nazis, that we need to put anyone voting with Trump in camps, cheering on white genocide, defending rapists and murderers) had on you.

Why would me and millions like me caring have any impact on an extremely polarized society?

Then don't. The left also didn't care when it was sowing, only now that it is reaping.

They disarmed him before they killed him. The gun is not remotely excusing (or for whatever reason you bring it up).

If he hadn't been armed, this would have been a standard takedown and he would be alive now.

Specifically because he had a gun, the situation became a matter of life and death for everyone involved. Pretti did that, intentionally.

Did the feds, who have been targetted by both violent rhetoric and actual violence in Minneanapolis, react badly? Possibly.

Did Pretti's shitty SIG misfire, leading them to think he was still armed? Possibly.

He's allowed to have a gun, he's allowed to be in public, he's not allowed to interfere with LEOs, and having the gun while doing so brought real world consequences, not legal ones.

Now, Trump will likely try to use this to push gun control, which I oppose, but I see nothing wrong with the situation as it stands. FAFO.

The worst presidents are always Republicans. People never feel bad about whole-heartedly opposing democrats, which is why this shit is rammed through under republicans. I fully expect Trump to sign an amnesty bill before the end of his term. He'll probably also expand the NFA. And republicans will cheer for it the whole time because Trump has an (R) after his name.

But, yeah, the messaging here has been absurd. Trump, Noem, Miller, Kash, and tons of others have attacked 2A, and lied about a dead American who was killed by federal agents. Also, anyone who falls for Newom's crap is an absolute dumbass though. I despise the rhetoric coming out of the Trump admin at the moment, but if you switch to Newsom because you want to protect 2A, you're a special brand of stupid.

You can compare this to people who liked Trump because they thought they fell for his "I'm a peace president". As for me, I'll gladly admit that I was an absolute dumbass for that. It's not as if the electorate is composed of absolute geniuses, even though any loss by the right nowadays is due to "massive fraud" of course.

I doubt that this will persuade any 2A diehard. The fact that you can make an argument for it is bad enough, e.g. "yeah, Newsom supports some restrictions that I think are unconstitutional, but at least they won't support shooting me over my constitutional rights". Still, I think there are more people than you think who support what they view as "reasonable restrictions" and what you view as abominations, but who also don't want their guns to be taken away completely. Most people are not ideologues, so they may be pro-2A, pro-abortion and pro-universal health care.

Look at how Epstein went from being a pro-right issue to a massive liability, even though no one believes that the Dems are better. They're now (rightly) painting the right as being complicit in this, and unfortunately, they do have a point. (The right likes to say that BIDEN NEVER RELEASED THE FILES, yes, he never promised it either, nor did he come up with dumb claims about how they don't exist and how they were also written by Obama and John C. Calhoun.)

This is undermining the right and boosting the left. I try not to be upset about it... so many people on the right think that it's WINNING to copy the most appalling and self-defeating behaviors of the left.

I did too. To be fair, he was the first president since Jimmy Carter to not start a new war in his first term, so I understand why people would.

at least they won't support shooting me over my constitutional rights

No one got shot over their constitutional rights. If he'd done the exact same thing with a knife or hammer, the same thing would have happened to him (other than melee weapons don't go off by themselves).

Look at how Epstein went from being a pro-right issue to a massive liability, even though no one believes that the Dems are better.

Cause they're all on the list. Why do you think he never "locked up Hillary"? He would have opened the door to half his party being prosecuted as well.

I mean, that's why I was hoping for but, as you say, these people care more about WINNING than either justice or the wellbeing of their country.

Globohomo shill network final and last propaganda tactic: the mangled quote tactic:

Globohomo has nothing to offer to (you), they only have annihilation for (you). You don't care to listen to their mainstream media dogs, You have been kicked out of websites, and your ideals have been banned from appearing there, so you don't go there The websites that haven't banned you still muzzle you, at a different stage, so you only occasionally go there. You are able to spot shills very fast You are able to modelize the indoctrinated liberal drone; their argument cannot convince you.

So what can globohomo do to win against you in this situation?

they:

mangle quotes, manufacture quotes, frame quotes, make out of context quotes, attribute quotes, quote quotes that do not exist, misdirect the meaning of the quote, report quotes correctly but pretend they mean something else.

They do this with the quotes of various personalities on your side with the goal to make them appear less competent or likable, or to invert the meaning of what they are saying.

A tweet goes viral trying to convince you that someone you respect appears to contradict themselves. It’s not ignorance; it’s design. Because they can’t refute your arguments, they falsify the sources. The interview is true, The footage is there, The audio matches or the words could be interpreted that way. it Is the narrative is poisoned

Why quotes specifically? Mangled quotes are the quote version of the Clickbait propaganda tactic. A Clickbait is an engagement tactic that uses sensationalist, misleading, or emotionally charged headlines to lure users into clicking on content. But a good clickbait also convey THE EMOTIONAL STATE the person should be when reading the article. because 90% of people never read the articles, but the message in the headline sticks. Mangled quotes do the same thing but try to convince you that the person really said something or really meant something by appearing to quote him; in reality, they manipulate the authority, credibility, and intent of the words of that person.

It works because it is not a shill telling you how things are; the shill is playing big pretending that the person is seemingly saying the thing. The alteration is just a bit; it has to seem verisimilar to a superficial view to trick the readers. Seeing that someone you respect appears to contradict themselves. trigger cognitive dissonance, Did they really say that? You will have to check every time. which is tiring. Eventually, you change ideas (unlikely) or you dismiss the speaker. Then, Later stop verifying altogether. Ultimately, you simply take at face value fully made-up statements without checking anymore. At that point, you will believe everything they want you to. This is their strategy from May.

Because globohomo has nothing to offer you if not annihilation, the only way to win against you is to demoralize you so you stay at home. and the percentage goes 49%

The most dangerous lie is 90% truth.

Actually, many of these accounts making these quotes are likely not even globohomo-related. They are independents who mangle the quotes in their tweets only to rub it on the people in the wrong way as possible, with the most sensationalistic tone as possible, to gain maximum engagement. It is then the globohomo shill network that simply reposts the one with the highest engagement that serves the purpose in all alt-right spaces.

realize what they are doing to you. only those who notice the patterns. survive.
