No it shouldn’t, but forgive me if I have extreme protester fatigue. Yea injecting yourself into the situation shouldn’t get you killed but my sympathy is strained when I think of the ones killed by illegals that the media doesn’t care about but these people are seen as some heroes. George Floyd got the hero treatment too. So while I agree that they shouldn’t have labeled this dude that way, forgive me if my compassion is strained. Something I know I need to pray about
Stop thinking in terms of morals and ideals. Those protesters hate you and would laugh at your death. If ICE lined them up against the wall for a bullet rain it would be a good thing. They shouldn’t be defended at all in any way shape or form. They aren’t you, they aren’t your family, they aren’t your friends. They won’t hold your principles but will use the against you if you dare strike back at them.
And I'd support that rather than criticizing their sloppy and late execution of the recent shooting.
It's like playing with fire. Everyone should be allowed to use candles and fireplaces to light and warm their home. But if you burn your house down because you were careless and flippant, I'll feel bad for you, but I'll also think you won the stupid prize you were entitled to.
We're all fallen. When I heard the American right complain about Randy Weaver or the Branch Davidians, I didn't care much and assumed they deserved it because they were weird people. But the right said: it doesn't matter how weird they are, or if the leader was molesting kids there, they shouldn't be shot or burned to death by out-of-control authorities.
I guess I thought they were being sincere. Or maybe they were at the time.
The thing to keep in mind about Waco is that the government used allegations of child molestation to justify burning those same children to death along with their families. Shooting a guy who was physically trying to stop an arrest isn't even near the same ballpark as the evil that happened at Waco.
Yes I’ve said that about the Waco situation. I said that shooting looks bad and injecting yourself into the situation isn’t smart but shouldn’t be a death sentence. That being said it does annoy me that thee fools are so protective of the murderer or rapists that ICE is trying to arrest or they see immigration enforcement as a grave evil. This is why I have protester fatigue. Also the victims of illegal aliens get very little coverage in this country but people like you are wringing their hands over this guy who shouldn’t have been shot but chose to be a moronic zombie protester. Reminds me of blm with all the black ppl who get gunned down in cold blood but let’s make a hero out of Floyd and Michael brown who were too stupid to listen to simple instructions.
So while I agree that resisting or getting in their faces isn’t wise, it shouldn’t be a death sentence you can forgive me for having protester fatigue and wishing this outpouring of empathy went to more deserving victims
Basically where I'm at, I hate all supporters of immigration and want them executed, but that doesn't mean I'll defend stupid and sloppy shootings just because the victim was someone who deserved it. The execution(no pun intended) is worthy of critique because the shooting had nothing to do with who he was, only how he acted in the moment. I want executions, not failed arrests that are inches away from being a friendly fire incident.
So yea I get your concern about out of control authorities but the fatigue still exists for me. Over the years I’ve grown sick and tired of protesters and people who care more about criminals than their victims. Like the guy ICE was there to arrest had a long rap sheet but those people chose to try and protect him.
I can have two thoughts. That it was a bad shoot and that I’m tired of people confronting ICE. Also can understand that I need to pray about it
Disagree. However being ARMED shouldn't increase chances of being killed.
