I was planning to make a PC this Winter, but opted not to since RAM prices went through the roof.
If things go back to pre-RAMpocalypse price hikes I'll build a PC.
Otherwise I can play THOUSANDS of great classics on my laptop with integrated graphics.
There are also still-affordable Chinese handhelds that emulate anything up to Switch games and now many PC games.

I'm using an RX 9070 XT, and it works fine. You are not welded to team Green; if you want to build a machine, use an AMD card.
