Qatar is buying F-15s, and part of the sales agreement is that their pilots come here and train on the platform. This is something the US has been doing routinely for 70 years. Saudi pilots came here to train on the F-15 when we sold some to them. Japanese pilots, same deal. Israel has sent pilots here for the F-16, as have a whole bunch of foreign air forces. Foreign air forces also come over here to train with us. Last time I was at Nellis AFB in 2005, there were German F-4s and Australian F-111 there to participate in Red Flag wargames.
For those who don't know, the Qatar F-15 deal was the impetus for the US Air Force to buy a bunch of new build F-15 called the F-15EX. Boeing upgraded the platform for the Qatar deal, and the Air Force decided to buy some themselves, to replace legacy F-15 models that were timing out on air frame life.
People should "sperg" about this because it's a bunch of bullshit when it's countries like this. It's especially bad optics when Mr. Deus Vult is put out there to announce it. They couldn't even bother to announce it under a Democrat admin so they could at least feign opposition and promote an "Islamo Communism" narrative with it. They really think their supporters are retarded.
The Qatar deal has been in the works for years. The only recent news is the announcement of the base hosting the training location. Mountain Home AFB is a big F-15E base, so naturally, that is where the pilot training will be.
Another reason we train ally air forces in the US is the training equipment. It’s the best equipment to train allies, is updated regularly, and a lot cheaper to break it than a jet.
Most of Europe goes to the US because places like Arizona has near 365 days of flying weather and no where near the extensive congestion EU airspace has.
Imagine having to spend most of your flying time hanging out in line with airliners and general aviation instead of pulling Gs.
Apparently, this has been in the works for years, but the guy with a Deus Vult tatoo announcing it is the perfect example of how fake and gay everything is. I suspect this knob gobbling is the kind of pathetic shit required to leverage Qatar against Iran.
We've had a similar arrangement with the Saudis. In 2019, a Saudi in training in a similar situation gave us a nice courtesy mass shooting at the base he was training.
From what I hear this is normal with ANY country that buys US equipment, they bring them to the US to train the how to use it so they don't blow themselves up.
Because they PAID for it and despite being attacked by both Israel AND Iran in seperate attacks this year, NEVER told the US to get the fuck out of their country.
British, Japan, Lithuania, Saudis, Australia, German, Estonia etc.
Even Habitual Linecrosser at 4:10 of this video points it out best, it's a business deal of 'you bought our stuff, let me show some of your guys how to use it properly'.
Agreed with what? How is this relevant to this issue where the US is training a country's military unit so they become repeat customers of US arms?
NOTHING is more important to the US than having a country as a client to their military equipment. Even Trump said so HIMSELF IN HIS FIRST TERM when the Saudis killed that reporter in Turkey, he literally said 'they buy A LOT of military equipment from us so we don't really care about this'
'they buy A LOT of military equipment from us so we don't really care about this'
And frankly, I would rather this be the attitude we go back to. I am well past the point where I care about if a nation is a democracy, a monarchy, or even a dictatorship. I only care about "Will they be a friend of the United States?" If yes, that is all that matters. If no, then it doesnt matter anyway.
You just said we sell to Qatar because they let us have a base there. 🤷
"Because they PAID for it and despite being attacked by both Israel AND Iran in seperate attacks this year, NEVER told the US to get the fuck out of their country."
Because we're one of the largest arms dealers in the world, if not the largest, and they have money? If you look at the sorts of countries we've armed in the past, this isn't really surprising.
I suppose that makes sense. The whole Qatar thing is his way of distracting from Israel's influence, but he doesn't want to go too hard at it lest he undermine foreign policy, which of course is terminally pro-Israel.
It’s a few generations behind what we use today, but I completely agree that we should never sell any weapons to foreigners. It just makes problems for our future conquests.
Qatar can't do anything with them anyway. There are only between 300-400k Qatari citizens and their military is tiny. The US base in Qatar isn't just for Israels protection but also for Qatars because Qatar can't actually defend itself.
Mountain Home Air Force Base I bet. This is a really common thing. I did a lot of stuff with an air force Base in Phoenix because they train the German Air Force trained there.
Lefties have been using it as a point to prove Trump is evil.
X was sperging out hard on this a few days ago,

Will they train the pilots to land? That's the biggest question.
Another reason we train ally air forces in the US is the training equipment. It’s the best equipment to train allies, is updated regularly, and a lot cheaper to break it than a jet.
At $100m each you bet they did.
Most of Europe goes to the US because places like Arizona has near 365 days of flying weather and no where near the extensive congestion EU airspace has.

Wasnt there some rapey stuff with some of them?

Why are we arming Qatar?
Because they PAID for it and despite being attacked by both Israel AND Iran in seperate attacks this year, NEVER told the US to get the fuck out of their country.
It's to placate Qatar so they let us have a base their which exists to protect Israel. Nothing arms Muslims better than Zionism.
Then why is this deal the SAME as with the:
British, Japan, Lithuania, Saudis, Australia, German, Estonia etc.
Even Habitual Linecrosser at 4:10 of this video points it out best, it's a business deal of 'you bought our stuff, let me show some of your guys how to use it properly'.
You agreed with me one comment ago. I guess you changed your mind already.
Agreed with what? How is this relevant to this issue where the US is training a country's military unit so they become repeat customers of US arms?

America is the largest arms dealer in the world. Boeing does not care who buys them.
Because we're one of the largest arms dealers in the world, if not the largest, and they have money? If you look at the sorts of countries we've armed in the past, this isn't really surprising.
There's obviously more to it than that, or we'd still be selling to Iran.
Because they are an israeli proxy.
Can’t wait for the “anti-woke right” crowd to use this as fuel for the Qatar message.
Meanwhile, we hate this shit, too. Fuck Qatar. Fuck Israel.
Why are you bothered by us selling overpriced, outdated military hardware to a nation on the other side of the planet?
Their pilots are coming here to train. How did that work out when Saudis did it?
I decided to check. Lindsay has the reaction you say but also re-tweeted Miss Fag Patriot downplaying it.

America First and the end of foreign wars and entanglements.
Fuck the middle east.
It’s a few generations behind what we use today, but I completely agree that we should never sell any weapons to foreigners. It just makes problems for our future conquests.

Is there an enemy neighbor country of Qatar that matches the topography of Idaho of all places?

The 2019 shooting should have ended this deal.
Is this the Qatari 8D hyperdimensional chess I keep hearing about?
I'm still trying to remember how to pronounce the name of the country.
Is it Kah-tar or K-tar?
