Israel has done this, and this kind of thing, for a long time. It’s really despicable.
It frustrates me that so many anti-Israel protests focus on leftwing SJW causes, when there is so much indisputably and universally evil fuckery coming from the Israeli govt.

I don't know if it's an intentional poison pill, or just your standard leftoid retardation, but I agree it's frustrating that the "Israel is doing bad shit" and "I wish my money wasn't being siphoned away to fund the murder of men, women, and children, and the annexation of land by foreign interests" are so associated with leftism. I feel like I always have to specify that I'm not associated with those weirdos, when I say I don't like murder and shit.
It just comes with the territory, I suppose, as leftism really owns the "protest" side of things. I think because the right realizes it's largely pointless, has better things to do, and aren't as obsessed with virtue signaling and "belonging," which is what a huge chunk of protests are about; it's all about Community and showing you're a Good Person. The meme about "leftism is a mental illness" is often true, and so they monopolize "protests" so they can be the Protagonists. It's all about their own narcissism. So, even when the cause is correct, the left often owns it optically, because they're the ones out there yelling the loudest, for their own egos.
They're deliberately obtuse about the evils of zionism, the influence of AIPAC, and the "1%" landlord/banker/capitalist class having that one incohenvenient thing in common
Because those two sides uniting over that particular issue would just be the worst in so many ways. And I don't really care about Israel one way or the other.
Jews were also the ones who started with terrorist attacks in the Middle East. Against the British. So really you could argue Arabs were just learning from them.
That's the only thing with mainstream "anti-israel" sentiment and they defend open borders in the same breath. Then they bluescreen when you point out 1948 was a "mass migration" event with a group that didn't assimilate. Or they wave you aside by just saying "it's different" and reset to the beginning.
They weren't really a unified people, I would imagine. It's been a populated area for pretty much all of recorded history, but it's pretty harsh living conditions, so it was more tribal/clan lands of goat herders and the like than a unified people.
You know, up until the proto-UN came by and said "Yeah, that land you guys have been living on since pre-Biblical times? It's theirs now."

One of the things that gets a lot of people early on is that conflation of criticism of Israel as a nation with Jews as a whole.
If we took Jewishness out of the equation entirely, Israel is still a despicable nation of actions and desires that are far and away done seemingly for petty evilness. Not advancing interests (thought there is a lot of that), which just becomes evil as a knockon effect of selfishness, but purely to be awful.
Which is probably why they use the antisemitism conflation. Because it means no one could point that out until just recently when the Lefties started looking at them as white colonizers. And even that is only a little tip of it.
"Taking jewishness out of the equation" isn't possible. Culture is downstream from genetics.
Move Whites into Darkest Africa, you get Rhodesia. Move usthe dregs of our society into a barren desert island in the middle of nowhere full of hostile wildlife, you get first-world Australia. Move third world savages into the lefty "socialist utopia" of Scandinavia and you get grenade attacks in Stockholm.
"Taking jewishness out of the equation" isn't possible.
Its not, but you can do so as an entry level into the political discussion. Israel as a country is fucking awful, and it would be so regardless of them being Jewish.
This is an important point, because its necessary to foot in door sell the issue to normies. People who aren't, and likely never will, be able to fathom genetics being destiny. You can convince normies that we should question Israel based on its government actions pretty easily if you detangle it from the Jewish portion, whereas if you even mention that the conversation usually ends with you being treated as wrong no matter what.

The problem is that there is a huge swathe of people here that won't stop screaming that it's impossible for there to be a distinction because all jews are part of an international, permanent, race-war, conspiracy against the world.
You know, like the top reply to you.
Meanwhile, Israel is kind of an asshole in the region that explicitly rejects liberal morality.
Jews are "White colonizers" now? After centuries of liberals saying they are NOT White and the fact that they've lived there for over 3000 years? Aside from that it's still bigoted.
By Leftist doctrine, they are. Because they are white in color and "took land" from brown people who lived there. And aren't poor/are successful, which also makes them white too. The Jews in charge distilled the politics down to that level of simplicity for their NPC followers, and they forgot it applies to their little nation too.
That's why there is a Leftist pushback against them right now period. Because that's how they see the world, and no amount of "ackshually" detail corrections will make any difference to the SJW type mind.

This would be the nth iteration of their golem turning on them, and yet they continue to make the golem.
It is no wonder god forsook them. I'd be tired too if I spent a thousand years trying to get them to stop reverting to idol worship the second I turned my back.
Correct! The progressive left selectively believes whatever is convenient.
No land in North America has been in the hands of the same people for the past 10,000 years (or whenever the ice melted, ~8K here!) People were there before them & were usually forced off through war. Sure, peaceful means were also used, but those rarely end up in oral histories, eh?
Jews lived there since LONG before Muslims even existed. The Canaanites were mostly exterminated, small traces of their DNA remain in Jews, Palestinians and (strangely!) Belgians. That is in no way enough to claim historical ownership by bloodline.
That's because even the 'alt-right' are literally just regurgitating Leftist talking points, because they are literally Leftist opposition. Its why after October 7th, I got to listen to the alt-right cry about "oppression" and "open air prison" of Gaza.

I love the virtue signaling by proxy posts I occasionally come across on Reddit
"Oh, I was going to attend the protest but had to work"
"I wanted to join them but couldn't get a ride"
Problem. Reaction. Solution.
The leftists are the middle part of that. It's worse than being useless. They're useful idiots for the cause of the people destroying all of us.
I wish it was just ego. We could deal with that. This is far worse.
It doesn't matter if it's intentional...

IT was just an affair, a Lavon Affair
Before that the Irgun terrorists bombed hotels :

The leader of the Irgun was later elected president of Israel…
Yes, Lavon happened when there was already a country, and Ben Gurion approved it

Palestinians probably had leaders who “didn’t want to appear racist” and held signs saying “welcome refugees”

This is becoming less true by the day. Israel is speedrunning the noticing.
Fair. I wonder if calling them zionist bankers would go over easier.
