Israel has done a terrible job with managing PR (if intentional) or their soldiers bloodthirstiness (if unintentional) for these aid points. Every day I read a new article about some massacre at a distribution area because IDF soldiers claimed people were approaching them suspiciously.

It says the are paid private guards for the aid distributors, I assume the work will dry up now that Rubio has canceled US Aid, but it could be UN contract or charities.
It's more than that. Hamas has always captured all humanitarian relief in Gaza, using it to control the people they supposedly represent. US is trying to put a stop to that. It's a noble idea, but I'm not sure it's ever worked yet (or if it ever will)
