By being dhimmis and praying their Muslim overlords wouldn't just kill & enslave them anyway, which is what happened quite often (especially when one Muslim horde toppled another, the new dynasty rarely if ever believed themselves constrained by any agreements made between Christian communities and the old overlords they just defeated).

Muslim rule, from the earliest Rashidun/Umayyad caliphs to the Ottomans, is the reason Christians went from being the majority population in most of the Levant to an insignificant minority in the Holy Land before the first Zionist settlers arrived in the 19th century. And why they went extinct entirely in other parts of the Mideast, also before the Jewish settlers got to the site of modern-day Israel (Tamerlane, for example, basically exterminated Iraq & southern Turkey's Assyrian Christians outside of the Nineveh Plain; that happened in the late 14th century and they still hadn't recovered by the time the Turks tried to finish his work during WW1).

Disdaining & hating Jews for their crimes is fair, defending & rooting for Muslims to own the Jews when you aren't a Muslim yourself though, that's just silly.
