That's cute. I don't trust vaccines after the last five years of the entire medical establishment, top to bottom, showing itself to be utterly unworthy of any amount of trust.

Sad part is, he's still probably the best HHS Secretary since the formation of the agency.

But, yeah, he's also been a massive disappointment on this and other things. He's very obviously playing the game, and he's also very likely to be compromised. A bunch of nasty rumors swirling around, and he's got the wrong people pulling his strings.

I'm still hopeful he can affect positive change, but there's no denying his behavior has been rather worrying too.

I'm withholding judgement, the tweet above this is about him with a couple of people who treated measles in 300 kids successfully with no mention of vaccines or any other bullshit.

RFK has never been antivax he is always been pro consent. He also wants to remove liability protection.

He was always saying the vaccines should be tested against a placebo like all the other medicines.

The greatest sellout in history?

He published no new data. But did a lifelong U-turn.

He's always been pro older vaccines. He's wanted to research them and their side effects, which made the MSM paint him with a wide brush, but I don't think he's flip-flopping on the position of "the old-style vaccines at least worked, we just don't know the side-effects well-enough, but they did accomplish their goal... unlike SOME vaccines."

Bingo. You point out how maybe babies don’t need 21 vaccinations before the age of one and suddenly you are “anti-vaccine”. That is how the media plays you.

Same with how Vitamin A can “help you get over the measles” is suddenly “Kennedy believes Vitamin A will cure measles”.

It’s all media spin.

Of course “ the most effective way to prevent the spread of measles is the MMR vaccine.”

That is not a flip flop. It was not the original discussion.

So are we taking the line that all vaccines are bad? Is that where we are now?

The entire medical industry needs to give us a reason to trust anything they say ever again after the shit show that was the last five years. Everything they offer is now poison until proven otherwise.

That goes for their shitty nutrition advice as well. Everything they tell you about meat and saturated fat is a lie, and the soy based diet they push is poison.

I honestly think that the single most important thing the Trump administration needs to accomplish is the whole Make America Healthy Again initiative, specifically the part where they ban poisoning the country's food supply.

He spoke out against that particular one. This talk of 'just the Covid vaccine' is not accurate. No, it's not all vaccines, but most have not been studied as much as they should, and many are unnecessary and overused.

Childhood vaccines especially, since the schedule has become so bloated. Even if the MMR vaccine was fine in a vacuum, it still needs more study as part of the vaccine schedule.

This is an about-face from Kennedy.

No, it's not all vaccines, but most have not been studied as much as they should

As far as I can tell, it's more like none of them have been studied at all. They've all been, at best, compared to "placebos" that also haven't been studied and aren't actually placebo.

And that's according to what Kennedy has said.

Find any quote of RFKj where he said MMR vaccine didn't work. Or that it isn't the "most effective way to prevent the spread of measles", which it is.

I've heard him say vaccines aren't tested, have side effects, and we're giving too many to kids. Not that they don't work.

Measles has like R0 of 15. You're not going to stop its spread unless everybody lives in a level 3 containment facility or 95%+ get vaccinated.

What's the tradeoff?

You're ignoring half of the equation.

In other words, RFKj is in fact being entirely consistent with everything he's said previously.

But you're upset at him for some reason.

OP: "He spoke out against that particular one."

Me: "Ok where did he say that?"

You: "You're ignoring half of the equation"

You are moving the goalposts, and you have no information.

You can find plenty where he says measles is exaggerated, and the risks of the vaccine likely outweigh the upsides.

Seems odd to endorse it now.

You should watch this Joe Rogan episode. The lady shows how all vaccines are disgusting. It's a decent start into studying how corrupt the medical establishment is, and how all vaccines, even polio, have been unnecessary and harmful.

yes. Because the MMR vaccine is an actual vaccine. it's not without side effects, some of them severe, but there's no question that it is effective.

Why are children dying of a disease with a near zero fatality rate, Mr. Secretary?

permalink save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– RoulerBleu 6 points 1 year ago +6 / -0

A disease that is basically harmless to 99.8%+ of kids is not worth playing Vaccine-Induced Neurological DIsease Roulette with your children.

( And the 0.2% remaining kids are likely to die from any other infection soon. )

Looking more and more like a limited hangout. More than a few insiders must have known what trash the covid jabs were and how much blowback they would cause for vaxx orthodoxy in general. Who better to install as a way of limiting damage to faith in existing vaccines, but an 'anti-vaxxer' who once spoke against them...?

Keep in mind, that one senator forced concessions out of RFK Jr in order to appoint him. I would not be surprised if this was one of them.

Additionally RFK is still going ahead with investigating these vaccines properly
