HA HA HA HA AH HAH HA HA!

WHEEZE

The amount of Deep State glow-fags shitting themselves to death will be fucking hilarious. DC probably reeks right now.

This also makes me think that there is a possibility that Matt Gaetz will probably get a similar assistant position, and maybe... just maybe... Brandon Herrera might end up at the ATF.

Bongino has been going on for months that he knows names and has receipts, and that people had better start coming forward as whistleblowers or there's going to be hell to pay.

Here's hoping that he wasn't full of shit and still wants to go scorched Earth on these corrupt or cowardly feds.

Agreed, let's hope it's not only sound and fury.

I've not taken that seriously since people on Half KiA were absolutely sure that Candace Owens was going to expose Zoe Quinn and all that simply because she asserted that she had the goods on her and that they were all paid shills.

Not a knock on her, but point is, people say stuff.

What does Dan supposedly know?

Mostly stuff surrounding the pipe bombs left outside the DNC and RNC on Jan 6, and Secret Service stuff related to the Butler, PA incompetence that got Trump shot.

Brandon Herrera might end up at the ATF.

Sadly no (only because it would be SO good to meme on), apparently Trump ALSO gave that to Kash to handle so they can't fuck things up with no director in charge.

A shame,Brandon wouldve made a fantastic ATF director.

Not quite. Kash is the acting director. Not the director. The permanent position is not fully filled yet. Moreover, as with Dan, he could be the Assistant Director, which is not a reviewable position.

How can he be merely acting director when his confirmation vote has already been held?

He's the director of the FBI. He's the acting director of the ATF.

No, it's not dumb, it's genuinely confusing.

Acting director.

Sadly, IIRC, Brandon himself stated that while it may have been in the cards at one point, it's very unlikely right now.

...not going to stop me from huffing the copium, though.

People on tiktok are spreading the rumor that Gaetz has already been appointed as a special investigator.

Let me post something that will definitely get me accused of being a 'concern troll'.

If you're going to have a special investigator, it's got to be someone who is unimpeachable. I love Gaetz, but he's very partisan and quite strident. You want someone like Robert Mueller, who is respected on both sides, and where it will be very difficult for them to try to impugn his impartiality. And yet determined to root out deep state corruption. Is there such a someone? Probably not. But you can do better than Gaetz.

You want someone like Robert Mueller, who is respected on both sides, and where it will be very difficult for them to try to impugn his impartiality.

The problem with that is that people like Robert Mueller tend to be people like Robert Mueller. Anyone “respected” by the establishment of the right and the left is almost certainly in that “respected” position because they will play along with the corruption. On the off chance that you can find someone who is respected on both sides that also has the qualifications and is either a person of genuine integrity or is not yet compromised enough that they can’t be lured away by a perceived shift in the winds of power—a trifecta of traits that is nigh impossible to find in combination—all it will take is one set of headlines about “Richard Miller sides with the Nazi conspiracy theorists!” and all that “bipartisan respect” is out the window. Think about how much reddit et. al. worshipped Elon or Rowling, and how quickly and completely that adoration disappeared as soon as they put one toe out of line and became the enemy du jour.

There will never be a genuine investigator that’s “respected by both sides,” because one of the sides is composed almost entirely by NPC media drones with no memories and the corrupt people who run them.

Think about how much reddit et. al. worshipped Elon or Rowling, and how quickly and completely that adoration disappeared as soon as they put one toe out of line and became the enemy du jour.

Absolutely true. I was sure the same thing would happen with Mueller. And yet when he found no 'collusion', the Mueller sub on Reddit actually accepted it. I actually posted a compliment on their sub because they did.

Of course, you're probably right that retaining the respect of both sides it is a pipe dream. They can try to smear anyone. An yet, it's much harder to smear someone who isn't an avowed partisan like Gaetz. For comparison: imagine that they had appointed Maxine Waters instead of Mueller.

There is a reason Elon and Rowling have been instrumental in the past few years. Because while they fooled some people some of the time, they couldn't fool all people. The same will be true of a Republican who does his job fairly, if there is someone, while also having everyone's respect.

Also worth considering: I thought that Marco Rubio and Waltz were worthless picks. But they've done a fine job so far. Of course, they are on a far shorter leash than a special counsel would be. Still, the corruptibility of these people cuts both ways, they can also sell out establishment pieties for advancement.

The head of the FBI doesn't even get to pick their second in command?

▲ 9 ▼

In fairness, I don't think I've ever seen a government job where you get to pick the 2nd in command. The XO or Vice-whatever is pretty much already there, or moved up when you did. Typically you have to have been in command for some time already before you get the chance to pick someone else.

Edit - It looks like Kash specifically did pick Dan.
