Embargo the UK already. Other than "financial and business services" their exports are a joke and most of those are only "in the UK" on paper anyway. They are more trouble than they are worth and should be removed from international trade.

Not only that, we should embargo any European nation whose freedom of speech laws are more strict than ours. We wont buy you shit. We wont sell you shit. We wont help you in an emergency. We wont come to your aid. Why the fuck are we the guarantor of NATO to protect muh freedom if 99% of the members condemn freedom? I say we impose our rules and customs on them. Otherwise fuck them and let Russia have its way with all of them.

Nato exists to keep German and wider European power down as a potential challenger to the US.

No, nato exists today to allow Europe to hate the US while still relying on us for defense, and have all the gibs to hand out.

Cutting gibs in Europe is verboten, and would cause mass riots. But they'll have to in order to pay for their own defense soon.

Put tariffs on French cheese. Wisconsin will be deep red after the states cheese sales go through the roof.

And with Trump coming in, EVERY tech company INCLUDING Google would just go 'shutting off UK access' as Trump prepares to tarrif the absolute fuck out of that island.

Labour are retarded, my only explanation as the Conservatives were weak but Labour at this point are deliberately escalating and pissing off EVERYONE on that island when their biggest ally has decided to not be left wing nutcases anymore.

That general election petition is going to hit 10 million by the end of the year and I wouldn't be surprised if the UK ends up so isolated that they have a worse currency crash than Japan.

The little reporting I've seen regarding the UK election leads me to believe that Labour didn't win but rather the Conservatives lost.

Pretty much, Labour actually LOST voters compared to the previous election.

It's the conservative voter base REFUSED to vote for them, either not voting at all or voting for Reform.

Unlike Trump where he has a mandate by popular vote, the UK government doesn't have one as they essentially got power by default because the other side crippled themselves.

Which imo was the only reasonable move. Giving the "Conservative" party another term after watching them act no different from any other liberal western government would have made fixing the UK virtually impossible.

(It's still incredibly unlikely obviously)

Someone's fixing for a 20% tarrif.

LOL

Europe (and the UK) will never regulate themselves to prosperity.

No taxation for talking about replacement migration.

Huh, didn't rhyme as well as I thought. Had to stretch without representation quite a bit.

Ahahahahahahahahaha.

The UK has signed trade deals with Canada and Aus/NZ. They still don't have a trade deal with Europe, and were hoping to play the US and EU off on each other to get favorable options.

If they want to play hardball the US can tell them to get fucked, and Europe would have no check against bending them over a barrel.

The UK can join us in freedom, or they can sink alone in tyranny, but there's no chance they get to drag us down with them.

Shock UK Regulatory Coup Gives Government Sweeping Control Over US Tech.

Then the UK government is about to get a refresher on the meaning of sovereignty and on the folly of trying to push around the world's only superpower, right when they are getting extremely fed up with this shit.

Good luck.

Hey, UK, you're just a tiny island the size of one state. The American continent exceeds you in population, size, influence and economic might. It would be very easy to just... wall you in metaphorically and let you starve to death. Wouldn't it be amazing if Panama banned all UK trading vessels from using the Canal?

All us tech companies need to do is ignore the UK meltdown, no matter what threats they deliver and the UK will be loser.
