A game that had no beautiful women loved by people that will NEVER be women.
At least if we go player numbers, they were ACCURATELY represented in terms of economic value..
Trenders are just a cause celebre for the political machine of the DNC to use in order to fire up otherwise uncommitted voters. The rest of the DNC user base is browbeaten into submission with moral intimidation tactics in order to get the show running.
This is the problem with still using the term transgender. Transition assumes the ability to switch from point a to point b. It’s become so bastardized by pseudoscience that now the attempt to move away from point A is called transitioning. This is why psuedogendered needs to be pushed, it is the only legitimate classification where the term fits the action.
We only have the tech to maim and sterilise, not transtition male to female and reverse.
If we did, we'd have a solution for all the submissive men /s
It's the same kind of word and term manipulation as communism, sure your ALL equal, equally under the same boot with less resources, fully reliant on the state to survive.
Just call them schizophrenic. It's more accurate.
Haymar (the asian woman on the poster) isn't too bad, of course if you see the trailer, a few minutes of screentime alone is enough to establish her as having a personality as appealing as boiled piss.
Explore the Concord Galaxy? With the banner characters of "red-faced space ape", "metrosexual male-presenting lizard" and "woman...of color!"? I think I will pass.
All this talk of Concord and I still don't know what the fuck the story is supposed to be. I've never played the Overwatch games but at least with that I was able to glean something about the player characters are the remnants of some elite task force made to put down a robot uprising or something.
The best part of the Overwatch story is that after the robot uprising and all its "atrocities" on "both sides" they needed somewhere to put them all.
So they forced everyone out of Australia and gave them their own free country for all robot kind. The Australians of course didn't like that and most became outlaws and terrorists constantly attacking the new nation. Its just Junkrat/Roadhog are what they are.
I'm sure you can see the real life parallel in that little background lore and how wild it is that they did it. Double so that one of the original missions has the payload you are escorting be one of those terrorist attacks (a giant EMP that detonates at the bottom to kill all robots).
Not only that, there's no tagline other than 'explore the concord galaxy'. Not 'explore the galaxy' because it's a slop shooter, not 'galaxy of wonder' because it's not interesting. Literally just 'Concord? eh uh, it's got lore. Concord lore. yeah, buy it.'
It's really pathetic lol.
"VForVixens"
Is it sad that I have to assume any feminine username is a tranny now?
Sad? Yes.
Hilarious? ...Also yes.
Makes the "there are no girls on the internet" meme that much funnier.
I wouldn't even say it's really "feminine" though. Like outside of trannies and 60yr old women trying to meet 20yr old guys online, who refers to themselves as "vixen".
Sounds more like a furry.
Lots of overlap.
G.I.R.L. on the internet.
I hope Reddit doesn't ban me for crossposting!
From OP there:
It's so weird, you see that sort of thing a fair bit from trannies. I'm not sure if it's the autism, the more serious mental illness or, my guess, partly an affectation because they think part of being feminine is being confused, weak, and helpless. (Based?)
Also, they really do seem to have an odd relation to their own body. Maybe I'm reading too much into this part, but I swear I've seen things like 'my head' from these people more than average. It's not "it confuses me" or "it's too much for me to understand," but it's "too much for my head to understand." Again, could just be an attempt at some "cutesy" affectation or something, but it seems weird.
Or could be a side effect of God knows what drugs they are on to prevent their owm body from killing itself out of mercy
I don't know how the top comment is still up.
This is just sad. The kind of person who would do this has nothing to distinguish their life except for cultural flotsam that gives them a sense of agency in the world because they can spend a few dollars to purchase it. People have always valued symbols and totems, sure, but the problem is, this one is fraudulent. It's just a signal without any substance. The effect has been divorced from the effector.
I mean.... it's going to be a collector's item...
There has to be demand for an item in order for it to be collectable. A few years from now, aside from showing up in occasional "biggest game flops" compilation videos, nobody will even remember it existed.
Concord disks are selling for over retail on ebay for some reason. I wouldn't be surprised if he could get a bit of money for it.
I like the crusty popcorn ceiling and the crooked LED strip and the haphazard placement of the flag and poster. It really brings out the concord aesthetic.
LED strip with no diffusion layer. Nothing better than looking at blindly bright point source lights.
Literally the same people who loved The Acolyte
Fuck me, even the poster you're meant to put on the wall is ugly.
Ugly, and with weird proportions...just like their character design.
I stumbled across this video yesterday which compares it to a xbox 360 game that came out in 2009 that really drove home just how bad this game is.
If you wanted to make the game look even worse you could make that exact same comparison video with Black, which was a PS2 game from 2006 (which BTW is still a really fun game to play on emulator).
The game won't even let you destroy TVs by shooting them: even Duke Nukem 3D let you do that.
