I don't understand how Velma got a season 2
It was likely already assigned one from the start as that does seem to be the production trend now. Just look at Rings of Power. How many seasons were they promised? Five?
Mindy can still bend her knees.
The lowering of casting couch standards and its' consequences have been a disaster for mankind.
Truly a terrible day to have eyes.
With their supply gone from Epstein and Weinstein, they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. No new faces going to Hollywood to “look for stardom” too.
Fuck off, handshake.
You're just salty because even your own kind rejects you, dalit.
As far as I'm concerned this is canon and the only Nu-Velma episode that counts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inJUFqeJehE
Love that. Pure genius.
That's the only good thing that came from that show.
I could have my facts out of sorts, but I recall hearing that they actually made a batch of episodes and arbitrarily split them up and called it another season? Worth looking into. It's apparently been done before.
Hate watchers
There was another Megamind movie? 🤔
Movie is charitable. It was more like the pilot to a low budget TV spin off.
I think that's literally what it was, since they also made a similarly garbage TV show.
Only four spaces is hardly enough. Needs space for Amazon slop like Rangz of Power or their dogshit Fallout show.
And Wheel of Time.
I looked at the title of the meme and was expecting something else...
Never happened/They deserved it
No. That doesn't even make sense with relation to the meme.
highlander 2 is not a horseman, it is the antichrist of "it never happened"
After the highlander reboot I wonder if we will look at H2 differently
There can be only one, and the TV show.
Highlander III isn't bad although nothing to write home about, Endgame is alright.
absolutely loved the show as a kid/teen
The thief show that continued the story never happened.
Oh, this must take the cake for worst sequel ever. Although to be fair none of the Highlander movies save the original are exactly good. Loved the TV show so I liked Endgame, 3 wasn't terrible and The Source was almost as bad as 2.
Mine is
Star Trek Wheel of Time Rings of Power Forthcoming Harry Potter Reboot
New Star Trek is so bad the Voyager and Enterprise seem amazing by comparison.
I hope they roofie it, bend it over the back of the couch, go in dry, and go at it so hard that JK Rowling disowns the whole fucking thing.
This is going to sound gay but Princess Diaries 2. The original was a pretty good film (don't @ me) but the sequel was dogshit. I consider Ella Enchanted to be the true sequel.
Now if you excuse me, I see a lovely penis I must put into my anus.
There's always a film or two that are good even if you hate the genre. I can't figure out why I like 10 Things I Hate About you, but I do.
Because it's a good movie!
It's weird to watch when you're from Seattle. The schools do exist like that, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky during the entire film.
I think it's because it's actually a retelling of Taming of the Shrew.
Quick ctrl f... and I'm glad I don't see anyone having fever dreams about any Tsukihime anime or anything like that
star wars is a massive success tho...
By that logic, mcdonalds is top-class cuisine.
Starting to get priced like it…
"Number one doesn't mean best. It just means most profitable."
Leonardo, 2003 TMNT
Can you name one memorable quote from the sequels that has the same memetic power as ANY of the following:
Just checking Know Your Meme shows almost no Sequel memes. How can it be successful if no one remembers it?
This one has some staying power, but it's mostly for how bad it is, not impressive or useful outside of mockery of a contrived circumstance.
They fly now? They fly now.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY
Is that even said in the movies though?
It's fuckin' REAL, maaaan. A mega-billion dollar entertainment company used this line in their capstone movie of their trilogy that they spent four billion dollars buying the IP for, in order to explain how the villain from the previous trilogy was still around. This is essentially the only explanation it ever gets.
I know delusional fans just be like “he cloned himself obviously look at the tubes” ignoring that it was never foreshadowed at all, or explained in-depth.
It doesn't have staying power, but it's a declaration of intent they had for the series that they put into the series of movies explicitly.
"They Fly Now?" .... "They Fly Now"
