Sometimes they do on account of they're the one leading the WvW raid, but it just never comes up as a topic of discussion. They're just the person yelling into the mic trying to get 40 odd people to bomb the enemy zerg correctly while keeping stab up while also communicating on commander chat to make sure we don't get flanked by the other zerg that's trying to reinforce the enemy.
I miss running WvW in Guild Wars 2. It was a good time back in the day.
I was in a TF2 community server once when someone on all-voice-chat said they were a girl. They definitely sounded like one, and it made me smile when a bunch of guys said stuff on their mics like "Only guys play TF2!" "You're not a girl you just sound like one!" "Prove it!" and then there was this back-and-forth between the girl and those guys as if the girl were "just one of the guys." She didn't seem offended about anything.
As an aside I love that TF2 community server banter. It's always censored but you can get away with saying a lot of things that would get you banned in many other games.
It does get irritating running into troons though. They're a growing population on the TF2 side as vet players troon out when they get older, and for some reason these same fucks love to be the active ones on voice chat.
That's cool and all, but I'm gonna go solo/duo every camp and fort on the opposite side of the map while you distract them. Thanks zerglings.
I miss the busy WvW too. There's nothing like seeing a zerg ball shift away from an important intersect because enough of them saw you flip 3-4 spots in quick succession, making them think there was a decent-sized raiding party up there, to find some jagoff Nightmare Court cosplayer druid and a sleeper-mesmer.
Nah, bro, that's what scout calls are for. You got a whole network of roamers and havoc squads out there keeping eyes on where the zergs are. One our guild leaders was extremely devoted to the art of scouting and emphasized its importance to us. Wars and battles are won and lost on intelligence, so keeping tabs on all the enemy movements at all times was absolutely key.
However my favorite play from all my years in WvW is still that one time when I changed up all my gear and my build on the fly in order to dive alone into a 30 man zerg to walk a Yak into keep and upgrade it in the middle of a siege, ruining the enemy's ambitions. Survived too, so I can truthfully say that I single-handedly tanked an entire zerg.
Ah good times. I miss my old crew.
Oh yeah, I couldn't pull half the shit-disturbing I did if I was against a competent commander. Luckily most commanders, even competent ones, focused on only two of the four fields (usually but not always center and their own, and even if it changed, it was usually still just two, and usually then it was losing their own), so I could just poke and prod until I found the best spot to be.
Making emote-based alliances with the third faction roamers was also a fun trick. The unbreakable code of /wave /point.
Sometimes they might by their name. And the only way you'll find out if it's an actual girl is if you use VC and get them to talk, if they're not talking.
Then you get that cringe shit where then the dudebros go "ARE YOU REALLY A GURRRRL?" and you just want to tell your fucking team to shut up and get on the fucking payload.
A true gamer girl either supports extremely the entire team in a backline position or smack talks so well that she can join guy banter.
Something felt off, so I did a little digging. This version of the comic is an edit which is at least 4 years old. The original is at least 6 years old, possibly even 12.
I recommend using your time in a much more productive manner, but hey I'm not your boss.
Considering my last boss barely even knew my name, who I was, or much about what I did, maybe having you in charge would have been better. Thankfully, my current one is much better.

Ngl, I thoroughly wish that the wimmenz who (apparently) care so much about Palestine gave a similar amount of shit when Muslim Azeris carried out much the same style of ethnic cleansing (with admittedly less killing, but still) against Christian Armenians at the same time as this all kicked off late last year...
But of course they don't. Because if history has taught us anything, it's that no one gives a fuck when Caucasian (literally) Christians are wiped off the map...

Every e-girl bitch minor celeb/social media manager will CLAIM they were a "true" gamer girl that "grew up with" (insert franchises that you know they only watched someone else play) and their modern set of games they play are (insert current AAA F2P Games as a Service goyslop FOTM bullshit here).
There are VERY fucking few actual "gamer girls" who are as autistic as the male retro gaming channels we have on YouTube. In fact, what's kinda funny is the only gamer girls who I know who know what the "older days" of gaming were like and are older age are all VTubers. Kiki, Amiya, Korone, Kirsche. They all play old ass shit and Amiya knows how to actually mod/solder old shit to make it work.
The gaming world is now infested with nothing but the top category.
