Before we even get to the ending - which I'll definitely get to in a bit - I can't help but wonder...who is even the intended audience at this point?! It's got no charm whatsoever, the feel is all off, the ship and environment looks like crap, and so much more. It looks like a cheap television show, not a feature film. Even compared to the rapidly dwindling quality of the MCU, this just looks and feels like trash.
Little thing, but the "You're Valkyrie," "'Tis I" timing is all off. A minor thing, but just comes off bad and cringe. Also, why is a powerful sorta demigod getting flustered over a chubby child with the charisma of a rock? Not only is it gross, it's not believable.
Also..."I'm on Captain Marvel's ship...with my freaking mind!" Exact same stupid tone. God, modern entertainment is such freaking trash.
As for the ending, not sure what I can even say, it kind of speaks for itself. Don't let gay weirdos write things...or be near children. Shit like this is why gatekeeping is important. We've let them turn so much of society over to absolute weirdos and degenerates.
Fun fact, the actress for Ms Marvel is also the writer for the most recent comic about her. So they are literally writing fanfic about themselves now, and in the case of Kamala, writing fanfic about a character who literally writes her own fanfic, Tumblr style.
Do they care about target audience? I would assume that is a topic they never discuss. After all this time is clear that the main audience is going to be straight men so they just never going to bring up "target audience" in their internal discussions, instead they have the mythical "modern audience".
Pretty sure the intended audience is themselves. Like just about every other libtard outlet, these writers have become an echo chamber unto themselves and think there are a lot more people like themselves than there actually are. ANY criticism is brushed off as chudspeak and they continue to walk around thinking they're setting the record straight about what is and should be.
some pop culture commenters pointed out these shows are like their own private therapy sessions
SheHulk TV writer admitted the character was written as her self-insert fantasy.
There is no target audience, it's made entirely to blog about on social media.
At best the target audience for these seems to be the people writing them.
But I think it's actually just propaganda and there is no target audience. It's a billboard. It's also why they don't care if it loses money
Gatekeeping ain't cutting it anymore. These degenerates won't change. The only way to cut this cancer is by terminating it - preferably with extreme prejudice.
how do you even gate keep, when they own the entire gate itself, don't watch their movies and watch them fail? oh but they're also good buddy of the government that prints money out of thin air and ready to jump in and bail out the too big to fail studios
So from what I gather - and correct me if I'm wrong, because I know nothing about these characters - didn't they just accidentally imply that Captain Marvel has shown pedophilic tendencies in the past by Valkyrie immediately assuming that the 16 year old girl was her wife? If I called my friend and a middle school girl answered, my first thought certainly wouldn't be "oh you must be his wife", because I'm not friends with pedophiles.
Do you not remember the scene in Endgame where she speaks to Spider-Man? Because that's how that came off.
What's funnier is that scene was almost certainly not intended to be taken that way, and is instead meant to try and invoke some sort of "mythical, powerful godlike being" vibe from Brie, with Peter as the shivering, scared mortal.
The problem is Brie is a terrible actor and she cannot manage to summon any emotions in anyone but disgust. So instead people focused entirely on Peter, and the horny overtook them.
Her line in that scene being "Hey Peter Parker, you got something for me?" didn't help matters.
Honestly, I completely forgot she was in endgame. She's the most boring character I've ever seen and my brain refuses to incorporate any knowledge of her as a defense mechanism.
And then inadvertently suggesting a strap-on.
No. "They" didn't, Valkyrie did. I didn't take that to mean Captain Marvel is a groomer, it just means Valkrie is a passive-aggressive bitch.
the most insulting thing is that this is not necessarily even the worst thing I've ever seen. it's just so bland and boring. like a movie made by director who's clocking in 9 to 5 with no passion behind schkgler work. Yet it has a budget that rivals the GDP of several countries.
That is definitely a word I've never seen before. Very original.
as valid as any of the other made-up pronouns in this clown world
Character creation. They used to make characters people want to be or want to bang. These nu-age characters are lame. No one wants to be a tranny disabled spiderperson. No one wants to be a ugly, girl. No one wants to be a mid looking bitch.
Basically.. instead of making characters people want to be/bang, they make characters into themselves. Instead of being the character, the character becomes them.
