didn't they just accidentally imply that Captain Marvel has shown pedophilic tendencies in the past by Valkyrie immediately assuming that the 16 year old girl was her wife?

No. "They" didn't, Valkyrie did. I didn't take that to mean Captain Marvel is a groomer, it just means Valkrie is a passive-aggressive bitch.
