The reason they do it is to generate a reaction. They want you to get angry, that's the whole point.
All of this drag queen story hour and similar bullshit is intentionally designed to be as provocative as possible. The goal is to force you to make one of two bad moves: Either you let them get away with it, in which case you have demoralized yourself, submitted to a Maoist struggle session and let them groom your kids, or you push back, at which point they cry about how oppressed they are and how you're anti-LGBTQETC. Heads I win, tails you lose.
The goal of this tactic is to do just enough where the law should intervene but won't, to prevent "escalation," then wait for their provocation to erupt in predictable frustration and outbursts that the law will then intervene upon and which will be filmed and used as propaganda. Of course, it also helps that friendly district attorneys enable this sort of behavior by looking the other way when they should intervene.
The ultimate goal of drag queen story hour is Drag Floyd. They want someone to go too far. They want one of these drag queens to get martyred, because they will then hold up that martyr as proof that they are oppressed, they are marginalized, they are victims, that anti-LGBTQ hate has reached violent proportions through stochastic terrorism online by people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Elon Musk, and we need to bring in the force of the law to protect them, and there will be huge lawsuits. #DragFloyd will trend on Twitter, the drag queen will rest in state in a gold coffin, woke politicians and influencers will cry in front of cameras, Antifa will riot in every city on the west coast, and thousands of gullible dupes will empty their bank accounts into the hands of grifters. It will be the summer of 2020 all over again.

The correct response is to quietly note the people involved and find out where they live and work. Then have have polite, private, parking lot conversations with them, away from media, to express exactly how you feel about what they are doing. Once that happens often enough, or word gets out that it is happening to people like them, then I'm sure these people will be persuaded that what they are doing is wrong and they will quietly step back from their "activism".
The fight isn't against bad ideas, the fight is against the people who hold those ideas. Ultimately those people will have to be exiled because the religion that has taken hold of their psyche will not allow them to let us live in peace.

My comment was a statement of fact, made to shame and enrage people, not depress them. Too many people think their lives and ambitions are too important to be thrown away by getting jailed for standing up to this kinda crap. Too many people keep biding their time on the off chance that someday they're gonna run into Klaus Schwab in the local mall, so they can kill him in cold blood and then willingly go to jail, head held high. No. We all get daily opportunities to fight boss battles, but they don't seem important enough, so we let it all slide. Too few people want to be useful, impulsive idiots. My comment was made as an attempt to stir some of the locals into putting their actions where their words are.
