It was a rule because Reddit has stupid rules against linking public social media posts. I'm not sure it's enforced here because it doesn't have to be.
I don't think the rule is so stupid, at least when we're dealing with literal whos on the internet. if your post has any kind of reach then it's worth posting here, but if it's just some faggot with 10 followers and five retweets, and they do not hold any position of significance, then it should not be worth the time of day
I agree that posting things from nobodies as if it's a popular opinion is dumb, but Reddit's banning of even showing someone's username if they are a nobody is why the rule exists in the first place.
Thousands, millions, TRILLIONS of deaths. Gamergate invented death, didn't you know? I like have a movie that like proves it. They even went back in time and created Hitler!!!
And yet they will call people being skeptical of a vaccine conspiracy theorists. Amazing
This guy is obviously a Gamer Gate denier if he thinks the deaths were merely in the thousands. Does anybody remember that moment of silence for the victims of 2/30? It was three whole moments, easily.
And gamergate surged due to corporate journalists trying to discredit the people doing actual journalism. They have now tied any real journalism to “hateful journalism by white supremacy” a term when asked they themselves can not define
All I wanted to do was
play gamesmove stair muffinsThe only interaction this Tweet has gotten has been through this thread.
Good catch. It's a bit annoying when people bring up literal nobodies with insane takes to make us get angry.
isn't there a rule against it?

That account has 14 followers and is following 8 accounts, and almost all the traffic to that post has been from this thread.
It's either a honeypot, or you posted that to twitter.
I found it through https://nitter.net/search?q=%23Gamergate
And then you didn't bother to look at how nobody was following or interacting with some random nobody?
Were they masturbated to death? Turned into lamp shades? Killed via rollercoaster?
The Disney Roller coaster people refused to serve them.

I can't believe she is downplaying the 6 Million women who died from the GamerGate. /s
Someone once tripped on their stairs muffin, I know that much...
Name one.
What even is this tweet thread for? What preceeds and what follows don't make any sense.
Apparently she is recruiting actors for a stage show. Question is, who wrote a transcript like that?
