You cannot be both "Pro Law and Order" and "Pro FBI" (nitter.net)

The first fucking sentence:

FBI is a lawless, extraconstitutional agency that's been violating Americans' civil liberties & various federal laws from the get-go

Good, good...

yet has never been fundamentally reformed

Why reform it if it's illegal? Throw it in the garbage. Imagine a world without federal police agencies. It can be done. At the height of the British Empire, domestic government was practically non-existent. "Cuckservative," indeed.

That's kinda how the "magic bullet" hit Kennedy didn't it?

Nah man that was Gamergate. Unsanctioned, of course. Someone used the Time Machine without signing it out.

He replied to someone who said reform is impossible and to dissolve it:

If Congress thinks it’s important to have an FBI, first they should amend the Constitution

I'm not sure what to make of his true position. Could he just be advocating an actionable step?

You're assuming there is in fact a true position beyond mealy-mouthed statism.

"Yes, this organisation operates outside of the law and abuses people on the regular and that makes them evil............ but if My Team™ were in control of all this power, it would suddenly make them good and reformed!"

It's the hallmark distinction of a statist: they rarely (if ever) want to do away with power when it's used for evil, merely "reform" it by putting their people in charge and continuing the status quo.

Reform is a word that is meaningless without contrition.

They're not sorry, they will do it again, reform is not possible. Only punishment.

Based. Wish more people on our side would nut up and realize this

Honestly even if we scatter it to the winds they still need punishment. We almost need another bureau solely tasked with investigating and prosecuting the FBI, and then for that one to disappear too.

He's saying that if you cannot amend the Constitution to create an FBI, then you need to get rid of it.

The FBI's existence clearly violates so many fucking parts of the Constitution any Congress, even the most neocons and neoliberals would not be able to vote for it in good faith unless they themselves are living off of the teat of the FBI (which many are).

People just can't escape the fundamental need for hierarchy. They want big brother. They just want big brother to be nice to them personally.

Pretty much ALL 3 letter agencies in America should be dissolved and scattered to the winds never to be made up again.

The only problem is the last guy that tried to do that got a new sunroof installed in his head in Texas so that's an issue of how to do it and not be six foot under before you even target their budget.

And the guy we voted in who tried to do it even a LITTLE bit (and we know Trump was extremely limpwristed in his attempts) got all the three letter agencies after him and those agencies colluded with the Democrat party to cheat a handpuppet named Biden into office.

To be fair, Trump has a magnificent head of hair, a sunroof would ruin it....

They mostly go that route now as when even the most die hard leftists will probably go 'the CIA killed JFK' if it happens again it no one would believe it was anyone else.

At the rate they're going the next time they do it the leftists will cheer. I mean, they're filling the CIA up with them, in 10-20 years it'll be seen as praxis to work for Langley.

Hence you see the problem for honest politicians, and why they can only ever advocate for "reform" at best. Tricky business.

there's no reason to reform something that shouldn't exist.

Talk of "reform" is inherently limiting. We only hear of reforming this law, reforming that institution. Never on the table is the question of whether this law or that institution is needed.

Not to mention any reform would go through the institutions and processes that were already controlled and corrupted by the people who created the current status quo. It's a recipe for conning yourself.
