I get the idea that we're being made fools of. There's got to be some kids somewhere making things more absurd and telling each other "DUUUDE, NO WAY THEY'LL BE STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU JUST MADE UP IS REAL! NO WAY MAN!"
One time I was prescribed medication that had a side effect that caused my brain to lay down memories of dreams as real memories. Those feverdream flashbacks to dreams about flying X-Wings alongside characters from Sesame Street and the Berestain Bears are less WTF inducing than reality, now.

It was a drug under trial to help prevent/ease the effects of kidney stones. It didn't help that I was under a lot of stress at the time.

Canadian sources have already been leading with the 2S with the alphabet people acronyms for some time.
It's the dropping of the LGB, the promotion of the non-binary and the explicit inclusion of children that is more notable with the new BS rebranding.
That's an initialism, acronyms are meant to be pronounceable as a word like PETA, and not spoken letter by letter like WWE.
I picked those two groups because of how they both harm dumb animals.
