To be honest, this is at least a fair enough translation from the localizers. They're known to do way worse like openly espouse Transgenderism for no reason.

You speak of Casual mode ruining it, but I think Lunatic (and Maddening and whatever other name that give it) did. Because instead of just Regular Mode and Baby mode, we have the super mega hard mode that totally isn't designed to sell Grinding Map DLCs that is the real difficulty (so we can not put much effort into Hard/Normal with Classic not being a joke) and force you to only be able to min/max with the best small handful of characters to even be able to play.

“Peoples” is actually good rhetoric. It’s a reminder that groups of people are defined categories with meaningful trait differences. Peoples have nations of origin, traditions, cultures, values, etc. “White peoples” sounds a lot better than “white people”.
