Four of the victims — all between 29 to 41-years-old — were then transported to the Hackensack University Medical Center for further treatment, while a fifth remained at the scene and declined further medical treatment, officials said.
Bunch of useless single moms doing heavy drugs instead of anything useful. Bet she had a tinder with “my kids are my life” on it too. Our society is beyond parody anymore.
It's so tragic that the antibiotic nasal spray she was using for her sinus infection was laced with fent- Oh wait, it was illegal recreational drugs.
If someone pirates video games and their computer gets a virus, you don't act like they're a horrific victim, you laugh at them for poor cybersecurity and say "don't pirate next time".
If someone tries to rob a store from the skylight and falls through like a cartoon, you don't act like they're a horrific victim, you laugh at them and say "don't steal next time".
So I laugh at these losers, and say "don't do illegal recreational drugs next time".

I was sort of thinking it's a societal tragedy, even though I have no sympathy for the user, but you actually brought up a great analogy. Why are these situations treated so differently? (and in fact the opposite of what makes sense) Is it because drugs are addictive and people imagine addiction to be a "disease"?
Basically this. Former addicts played the PR campaign of addiction being a disease so they are never responsible their actions as long as they are trying to do better.
Because media and culture has divorced drugs from a starting point. So they are just somehow a poor addict who can't escape.
Which means nobody ever stops to consider "yeah but this dumb retard chose to start it in the first place" as a mitigating factor. This isn't the 80s where nobody knows what these drugs are.
Because it's people in the media shaping public perception of each? Rich people have no need for consumer-level copyright infringement, but they do like their illegal drugs, and they're in a position to be hurt by consumer-level copyright infringement but not to be hacked to pieces by the drug cartels.
Can't be doin random cocaine these days; that's for sure. I'm not sure what it would take for me to trust it. If I could, I'm not opposed to doing it. It's a fun, fairly soft drug, although not my personal favorite.
As far as stimulants go, you're better off doing amphetamine (not meth). It is relatively safer and lasts longer. Cocaine is very addictive and I wouldn't call it a "soft" drug
Cocaine is pretty safe, too, in the short term, unless you just have a heart attack. Long term all of this stuff will kill you. Meth is incredibly addictive.
Maybe this is a dumb argument. All I was saying is I have never seem to have a problem getting addicted to coke.
Pussy Passed Away. They needed to look like they are doing something. In these instances, what is the point of doing anything? Just cart the bodies away and point to it as to why you don't do drugs. Let them all OD and pass. Drugs are not something you do, it's Darwinism for the modern era.
Junkies and stoners need to be looked at with scorn and disgust, not sympathy.
“More than anything, Michelle worshipped her daughter Ava, and took pride in telling anyone who would listen about how captivating she is,” the online fundraiser set up to support her daughter read.
Bullshit. If she cared about her daughter, she wouldn't have done shit like this. When you have a kid, there are just some things you do not do. Ever. Like get drunk, high, or take any sort of recreational drugs, particularly those that are illegal. Losing control of yourself and your sense of awareness is dangerous, because it takes only one fuck-up to cause possibly irreversible harm on your child, who you need to be ready to tend to at a moment's notice. It also makes you a terrible role model. All I see is just another miserable, self-loathing woman who couldn't be bothered to just find a hobby.
Its a classic deflection. Look at all the stories about how evil crack was in the 80s. Its all "these poor women, they had kids and were trying (lol) to turn their life around, but just kept ending up turning tricks for crack."
No one gives a shit about these kids, only giving pity parties for women to absolve them of any wrong doing.
Solid chance the daughter would have had a much worse life if a junkie mom was still in the picture. Considering mom already put her own pleasure and selfishness over her daughter to end up in this position in the first place.

I'm sure they were whining about the lack of good men as well.

Pro tip, don't be a druggie.

I mean… not more than parking lot rails
It is not an epidemic or a disease. It's natural selection.
Fucking NJ cops, no matter what County you are in or what year it is they manage to be absolute cunts.
They hit two guys with 3rd and 4th degree drug charges and hold a PRESS CONFERENCE?
Going to get knocked down to an ACD and everyone will go on there way.

If you drink a beer and the waitress put fentanyl in it - did you overdose or were you poisoned?
Depends on if you wanted fentanyl. If yes, it is an overdose. If no, then you were poisoned.
If you drink bleach and the waitress put dishsoap in it. That's the actual equivalent.
Pure cocaine is pretty safe. In peru they put it in coffee.
Coca cola used to have cocaine in it in the US.
CarFentanyl measured by a retarded drug dealer is a whole different matter. LD50 is in fractions of a gram.
She's a victim of a culture that tells people that chemicals are a way to beat depression.
i've seen a commercial a few times now with reference to "safe using practices" for opiates.
Caveat Emptor, bitches.
Still, why would any dealer cut cocaine with fentanyl? I could see cutting heroin with it, but these are two drugs at cross-purposes.
eh, fuck her. Everyone else already did.
