To be fair, who would want Bill Mitchell on their side?
Who the fuck is Bill Mitchell, and why does he think DeSantis is even running?
Because the establishment is astroturfing the fuck out of it to create a rift within the populist voting demographic.
Oh, I agree, but that's beside the point, and it's not like Bill stopped supporting Trump because Trump was too right-wing or anything.
What we are witnessing is the great push for Desantis to run in 2024 by the Uniparty
...which will probably fail as he knows better, unless Trump himself pull out on his own free will (most likely event this might happen is if he starts having health issues) NO ONE but grifters will run against him as it's political suicide.
Trump is clearly not close to invulnerable in a primary in 2024 and DeSantis obviously sees it and he will run.
Trump has an abysmal history on personnel selection, he refuses to stop praising the vax that his own base of supporters despise and Trump has also made terrible endorsements in the 2022 primaries like Dr. Oz and Herschel Walker which has cost Republicans winnable seats in swing states. Trump refuses to stop complaining impotently about the 2020 election and he comes with more baggage than ever after J6.
This is not the Trump of 2016 or even the Trump of 2020. This is Trump in his weakest position.
If DeSantis waits for 2028, he will never become President as he will become irrelevant.
In 2024 the nominee will be Trump or DeSantis. The possibility exists for either one to win. The winner will be decided based on their primary campaigns. Anyone telling you that Trump is guaranteed to be the nominee has their eyes closed. It is a jump ball right now.
A good summary of how I see things Currently
All Trump needs to do is drop vaccine support and have a person to vet people for him like a Steve Bannon again and he's fine. The problem is he's a mudwestler so no matter what you are getting dirty fighting him politically while he isn't harmed by that style as people will go 'that's Trump'.
I have seen this Styx video and I don't think Styx understands that Trump's innate characteristics have become his Achilles heel right now.
Trump is the type of guy who never admits he was wrong on everything.
He is a very prideful man who thinks it is beneath him to even have to compete for the nomination. He believes he is entitled to be coronated for 2024 because he thinks 2020 was stolen from him. This is a dangerous entitlement mentality here.
He just won't change course on the vax. He will refuse to denounce it. He brags to this day that he saved 100 million lives with it.
Recently he also foolishly blames anyone who doesn't kiss his ring as disloyal these days. He has said this about evangelical leaders who haven't endorsed him for 2024, he has said this about pro-lifers, he has said this about people who worked for his administration and haven't endorsed him and he constantly berates DeSantis for even daring to think to run against him.
Trump wrongfully believes that he is entitled to 2024 as his turn. This sense of thinking is going to ruin his campaign from doing the things necessary to even win the nomination let alone the general.
With the baggage he has accrued if Trump becomes the nominee, he is very likely to lose in 2024 and as a result will destroy his own legacy when he ensures the nation will have 4 more years of Dem rule.
I won't disagree with the points you made but unless it's from the grass roots NOT the establishment or media, Trump is the incumbent candidate.
It's a shame Ross Perot didn't win in 1992 as then you would have 3 parties to choose from than be stuck between two sides.
Third parties cannot win a national election in our existing political system. Third parties can only serve as a spoiler vote for one of the two major parties.
If we are talking about the best President that never was then my nod goes to Ron Paul. He would have truly changed some key things for the better.
My homie Goldwater would have been a damn OG El Presidente.
As onetruephilosoraptor said, viable third parties cannot exist in first past the post systems. What would happen to the GOP is what happened to the Whigs; everyone would leave the GOP and the Reform party would be the same as the GOP, with the same people. Once the Republican Party expanded past its roots as a mostly irrelevant abolitionist party, it became a clone of the Whig Party as former Whigs flocked to it.
What does this even mean? He could run in 2040 and still win. Nobody knows the future.
Yes I'm in camp Stay-governor-for-several-terms-and-then-run-for-President.
What is he going to do when he terms out of being Governor in 2026 if he doesn't run?
Florida has gubernatorial term limits of only two terms maximum.
Marco Rubio is in one Florida Senate seat till atleast 2028.
Rick Scott will be in the other Senate seat till 2030.
Thus running for Senate is not an option.
No governor goes for the downgrade of running for a House seat again.
What will he do, be a host on Newsmax after his governorship is over?
Candidates who are out of political office for years and decades become forgotten and old news.
2024 is his best opportunity and he would be a fool to wait.
If he did lose the 2024 primary then he will still be very relevant for 2028.
Many GOP nominees have lost the previous presidential primary, become the nominee in the cycle after and then won the general.
Look at Reagan and H.W Bush
Running in 2024 for DeSantis has immense benefits and no big costs.
Damn, I didn't know that. Then he needs to hand pick and promote his successor. After that anything is up for grabs. I still don't think he'd necessarily lose no matter when he runs, and 2028 is only 2 years after 2026. When he announces his campaign he'll be in the news again.
You're surely not serious. Pulling out of backing Walker is basically letting women select who can be elected without even voting.
What we need is people who take women's tactics and hit back twice as hard. You accuse me of rape? I'll sue you for every cent you've got. You call me a sexist? I quote one of the many feminist calls for mass murder of men.
Herschel Walker was a shit candidate even in an alternate timeline where he didn't have any sexual scandals.
He is the only statewide GOP candidate in GA who lost and it is no accident why it happened.
He was unqualified and he didn't have the media to cover for him unlike the Dems and Fetterman.
Someone like Doug Collins as GOP candidate in GA would have beaten Warnock.
GA elections are as corrupt as they come.
Unqualified? Did you see the sheer number of garbage female candidates that the Democrats got in? You don't need to be qualified. You just need to be liked.
You want to talk about mistakes in 2022, it's all down to believing your own bullshit about eight point shifts in women's vote, causing crap candidates like Tudor Dixon and Kari "trust the plan" Lake. It's down to believing that anyone gave a shit about fucking TERF issues when inflation was pushing 10%.
If it's so corrupt, then why did Kemp blow away "President of Earth" Stacey Abrams?
Because he cheated better than her.
Desantis is being pushed because he is one of them. Just better at hiding it.
The #1 guy pushing for DeSantis is Trump. I would say he's completely tone-deaf to his supporters and the RW, but it's really just him being honest and upfront about who he is.
It would be the case but the problem is how many snakes are pushing Desantis too
This isn't a knock on Desantis, I'm saying no matter if he wins or loses, the snakes win as they either face a weakened Trump after the nomination fight or stop Trump and then use their support for Desantis to get positions of influence.
I have no doubt DeSantis will show his true colors if he were elected president. I would rather dangle the carrot of the presidency while he serves as governor. This way, he will keep up the act instead of having no reason to try and win over Trump voters.
Ultimately, what we're seeing between Trump and DeSantis is a powerplay by the GOPe to split the vote and demoralize Republican voters to accepting RINOs or risk letting the democrats "win." Neither Trump nor DeSantis will win as of today because of the current divide.
And, like I've stated throughout this thread, democracy is a rigged game. It will always be a RINO or someone who will lie and then sellout (like Trump). A guy like Ron Paul would never be allowed to win, and I doubt that many people would vote for a principled candidate with a strong track record. People (myself included) overlooked Trump's history in 2016 because we so wanted to believe everything he was telling us. In hindsight, I would've voted for Rand Paul in the primaries.
DeSantis is either the GOP-flavored fallguy (think Jeb Bush in 2016) for their real chosen one (Hillary, same election), or they desperately want him to win against all other GOP challengers because they have something really bad to hold over him for leverage.
At this point, if the MSM and their puppets are pushing for someone specific (or are acting delusional about someone), it's worth noting as that's the Establishment doling out their programming to the consumers. And as we all saw from '16-'20 with the TDS'ing, they clearly don't want populist candidates to disrupt their ongoing grift operations.
TBF that faggot supported Trump too.
No, they seem to like him for his support for gay marriage.
And who can forget when he held up an LGBT flag when he was running for president in 2016? First Republican politician to ever do such a thing.
Bill just wants to hump the next big thing. Only DeSantis has done fuck all to show he's got the stones to take on Washington.
The way I see it, this is all by design to split the party and give the democrats 2024.
The "failure" to deal with voter fraud in both 2018, 2020, and 2022, is causing in-house arguing and diving the base. The GOPe want us to believe that MAGA candidates can't win. In reality, they're winning elections but losing to fraud.
The Republicans will stop letting democrats rig the election once we bend the knee and accept RINOs. This won't happen for a long time until we're demoralized by losses.
And the truth is, the GOPe doesn't care if democrats win because they're ultimately fighting for the same thing.
Disclaimer: I don't vote and stopped voting after 2016. I think voting is rigged, whether it's voter fraud, candidates who sell out, or never allowing a candidate like Ron Paul to ever win. Voting is a game designed to make people believe that they have a say in matters and they can bring about change.
Yea they've tossed off the mask and the GOP is trying to do their part and act like it still has a voice. As per their role.
Bill "The Giant Faggot" Mitchell?
Yup, Trump's #1 supporter for 8 years!
DeSantis sent him the diarrhea checks
How do you lose Bill Mitchell? You could start by being marginally based, and follow it up by calling him and his alts faggot grifters every time they post on your site.
Based!
https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/trump-hosts-gala-for-homosexual-republicans-after-biden-signs-same-sex-marriage-law/
He is just grifting. I eould say "grifting again" but that would imply he ever once even for one imperceptible split second stopped grifting
He must've been paid money under the table because the Trump cult is far more lucrative than cult DeSantis has.

what's this about?
You deny him his diarrhea check.
A 1mo old account that's been inactive for 3 days but logged in to make this comment and hasn't said anything since. Weird.
If you're going to criticize people for un-"organic posts," be ready to have your shit scrutinized. Imagined being shocked and offended that someone would defend themselves against your baseless accusations. Fucking retard.
c/The_Donald is to your left, fuck off back there if you can't handle debate.
BTW, calling someone a shill is pretty funny when they've been around for more than a year and you've only been around for 1 month. Again, you're a fucking retard and probably a shill, yourself.
My God you're retarded.
You accused someone of being a shill simply because they posted "How do you lose Bill Mitchell?" If you're so attached to Trump that you're offended by THAT minor criticism, then go fuck off back to the donald.
You fucking faggot.
You obviously give a huge shit about Trump.
There's plenty of people IDGAF about and I don't go around defending them or accusing others of being shills if they post a mild criticism about them.
Normal people just ignore the topic and move on.
You, on the other hand, took it as a personal insult and started making baseless accusations.
Seriously, go fuck off to the donald if you can't handle a mild criticism.
Bill was a huge Trump 2016 backer. He joined the Trump train early and he was one of Trump's most devoted supporters till now.
Trump 2024 is off to a terrible start if he has lost devoted Trumper Mitchell.
Bill Mitchell III is a massive faggot. A whinging, mewling, grifting bitch-boy.
This has been known for years. His bona fides here are completely gone, and have been since he started DM-ing mods asking them to ban people from this site for disagreeing with him.
Whoever downvoted this are his fellow faggots.
I know you're still pushing this whole DeSantis train thing, but Trump's campaign is doing just fine, and hardly anyone is even considering running in a primary against him.
I've seen Bill defend every leftist policy that Trump signed off on, both while in office and out of office.
Bill defended the Omnibus because he thought it would help us win in 2018 (spoiler alert: it didn't).
Bill defended Trump's gun control because he thought that most Americans wanted "common sense gun control" and the rest of us were just extremists.
So yeah, for Trump to lose his #1 fan, things aren't boding well for both him and Republicans in 2024. Personally, I think it's becoming obvious that the Republican party is purposefully sabotaging itself and Trump is in on it, but is pretending to be the opposition.
You mean Mike Lindell? Or, IDK, Donald Trump Jr? Or Marjorie Taylor Greene?
No, I meant Bill Mitchell.
Exhibit A: When Trump inexplicably endorsed McCarthy for Speaker.
It should have been obvious decades ago. It was co-opted a looooong time ago, but most people bought (and still do buy) into the two party "conflict" and truly believe there are no other options.
Literally all of these people are actively working against Trump on a daily basis, and Bill specifically is included in manufacturing fake news against him.
Palming the blame off to just neo-cons largely ignores the foundational issues with the party, and the two party system at large. Are there individual exceptions? Maybe, but I've found them to be irrelevant at best and shams at worst.
It's not something that can be fixed by "reforming" the party. You root out corruption, not foundational issues.
If Trump can't win Bill Mitchell, how is he going to win anything?
At this rate, demcorats aren't even going to need to rig the 2024 presidential election. Trump's remaining supporters won't show up for DeSantis, and everyone else is sick of Trump.
