Isn’t this a variation on the women who complain that they can’t find a good man? I remember I worked with a lady once and she was very attractive. She would complain about the fact that her boyfriend would give her flowers and gifts while found a lot of romantic things for her. She dumped him for being weak and clingy. She then got with a guy who was in and out of work and she complained that he never gave her gifts or flowers. I hope her previous boyfriend ended up finding a good woman.

In the context of a relationship, if a woman complains to you frequently, it's because she thinks it works. If she complains to other people, it's because she's whining.
