Lot of feminine adam's apples going to be bobbin' for tricks.
Tell me HR was a problem without telling me it’s a problem.
Creating busy work for useless women, while unintentionally giving them great control of the company? What could go wrong?
They naturally devise struggle sessions and an oppression olympics (because they fail in a merit based world)
edit: oh was that rhetorical?
It's not even that they have great control over strategy. It's that they can gatekeep the personnel. If you have cray bitches making hiring decisions, you're going to end up with the worst employees.
One thing HR bitches find "disturbing": Confidence. They'll write off the best guy because he seemed like he understood that he was the best. He's "not a team player." Now, men will avoid hiring competition, but they aren't offended purely that someone who knows what they are doing acts the part.
Somewhere there is a CEO of a company that recently became large enough to have an HR department wondering why all the new hires are dopes. I have seen it.
No offense to you personally, but man I hope this stupid "tell me X without telling me X" phrase will die off for another decade before it inevitably comes back.
Jeff BASED-os???
Oh no. Anyways...
How to unfuck your company in one easy step.
I wonder how much of this is due to work-from-home exposing the business and revealed how little work HR/Office drones actually do along with how much of it could've been done remotely.
I agree with you and had a similar thoughts when I posted b
How many employees does Amazon have? That seems like a lot of HR people, and you know they're not firing all of them.

The useful idiots are no longer useful.
AI is going to be replacing most HR jobs soon with greater efficiency, that’s why the DIE pivot occurred to stay ahead on the cult culture indoctrination.
I dunno, AI consistently tells tech companies to hire almost exclusively white men, so they're going to need to figure out how to manipulate their training data first.
That's what things like ChatGPT are for, figuring out the inconvenient patterns that broadly trained AI identifies and lobotomizing the services that use those patterns.
To show what automated HR would look like: You can outsource payroll/taxes/benefits, and it's all very smooth if you're willing to pay for it. And you don't even need an HR department.
Hmmm...looks like too many lawsuits being filed by obese black lesbians in HR for "bean disrispektid" by upper management.
...and nothing of value was lost.
I would argue that significant value was recouped, or gained in increased productivity,
Seems like a weighty decision. He must've really needed to cut the fat on this one.
It must be like 5,400,000lbs off his shoulders.
If you have (at minimum) over 9,000 HR positions within your company, you've failed. I don't even think that HR is the most useless of jobs, there is a need for someone to handle internal affairs, hiring and general personnel elements (albeit a lot of that can be subsumed between/under other positions), but even for Amazon 9,000 HR roles at the minimum based on this number is beyond insane unless HR is specifically being over-applied to a variety of roles.
I wonder what the governm....er Amazon will do to fill those positions?
They'll probably get some monkeys to throw their feces around the place. It will still make for a better work environment.
