I’m guilty of not taking it seriously. I remember in 2011 or so thinking that SJWs in college would change once they entered the real world.

They ended up changing the world

The socialist/ communist death cult is truly impressive in its historical cycling because it involves a minority who realize what they are doing and do so out of malice, while the majority truly believe they have somehow figured out how to achieve utopia.

Yep, I thought the same thing.

I should've taken it from Yuri Bezmenov: Real, factual information, reality right in front of their noses won't deprogram these people because their ability to process information has been completely twisted so that they only see what the ideology tells them to.

Its also because the government doesn't allow them to face reality. All systems are set up to insulate the idiot crowd, because idiots vote with feelings, and feelings are easy to instill over the short term. Short term like the run up to an election.

Yeah, same here. I was in ART college in BOSTON at the time and the SJWs were still fringe weirdos. I only knew one girl spewing it at the time and I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her insanity. In my youthful naïveté about the nature of adulthood and common sense, I assumed the best of others and figured that her unique brand of terminal complaining would eventually disappear with maturity. How wrong I was... Then a few years ago my father was fired for refusing sensitivity training after making this joke: "You're going to get the Aunt Jemima treatment!" while waving around a spatula. He was accused of being racist... he said Aunt Jemima because it was the pancake brand that sounded better than Mrs. Buttersworth in the joke. He worked with adults with developmental disabilities and was one of the few people that really cared about them and treated them with dignity and humanity and entertained them with his silly harmless dad jokes. Fuck those people.

Yea that is a harmless joke but wow do people work hard to be offended. Your dad find a better job?

Nah, he's old so he just decided to retire after that and focus on the occasional home improvement and restoration project with his buddy. He was sick of being treated like a monster just because he was an old white man in the human service industry.

It's not real

It's not real and you're crazy for thinking it

It's not real and you're a conspiracy theorist for talking about it

It's not real and you're a terrible person for being worried about it

It's not real and you're the enemy for not liking it

It's not real and if you try to stop it we'll throw our weight at you

It's not real and if it was real things would be actually very good and not terrible

It's not real and if you aren't on board with making it real you're no longer allowed to do anything

It's real, it's here, it's always been here, get over it <---- You Are Here

It is, will be, and always was real and any attempt to pretend otherwise is crazy talk

It's real and if you don't worship it line up against the wall

The progression of leftism follows the narcissist’s prayer. Because leftism is the political and cultural manifestation of cluster B personality disorders.

University reform is required in the USA. Have the Republicans already stated as such or are they still raking in the cash, while doing absolutely nothing?

The existing University system is past reform. The tumor is bigger than the healthy part of the body. Even assuming a dictator could decapitate the administrations you would still have to liquidate the entirety of every humanities department.

That can never happen because "civil rights" and "anti-discrimination" is used to keep the marxist political operative sin place.

You can start the process of neutralizing it by allowing graduates with useless degrees to sue for fraud. And create class actions to pit the litigious class against the academic class, forcing our enemies to burn their resources fighting each other.

What could realistically happen is based states create their own certification process for individuals.

No one will do anything until its too late and then the backlash will be just as bad.

Sigmund Freud ruined psychology, but because everyone was on his dick for so long the entire field focused on boring fucking Behavioralism for a generation because they were so afraid of veering into unfalsifiable concepts like Psychoanalysis.

The same thing will happen on a larger scale. English, Philosophy, Art, and more will essentially disappear for most of our lives --- and to our detriment!

The fact that these fields are full of smug midwits with axes to grind doesn't change the fact that they are valuable things to ponder and study in a vacuum.

Modern English - He is a she is a xe is a bee. And not from babylon.

More Modern English - A woman is person that says they are a woman.

Yeah but I am clearly not talking about that.

Take out the marxists, the critical theory, and Foucault and all this bullshit goes away.

It is too entrenched.

We will need to revert to subsistence levels, with a local schoolhouse that is community run, and then build up from there.

Nah.

If we ever actually get to that point we would actually be screwed. You only rebuild to that extent after everything is razed to the ground... and there would likely be a lot more things "peacefully" razed in the process.

Just be careful what you wish for on that front. I 100% agree that academia is one of the leading sources of cultural and societal rot, but I do also think that most leftist institutions would crumble if any sort of oversight or enforcement came in.

Think about it: specifically over the last 20 years how much has tuition gone up? How much of that has been reinvested into actual education (better facilities, top-notch faculty, and research budgets)? It is nearly all tied up in administration and bullshit.

Shine a light on it and the roaches will scatter. It will be like Twitter - they will all bitch and moan about how fascism or nazism has arrived and how the institution is dead and then suddenly academia will function better when 50-75% of the admin is gone.

It isn't perfect or finished in that scenario, but you probably wouldn't be as pessimistic.

GOP has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC for decades at the Federal level. You're not going to get any help from them. It's going to have to be at the state level.

One tactic from their playbook would be to remove any tax breaks, state funding and start taxing all the huge billion dollar endowments they're sitting on.

It's all uniparty. Nobody will solve the problem. This situation will continue to spiral downwards through the decades, or even centuries, to its ultimate end. Something else can then rise from the ashes, but not before.

Just goes to show that you don't have to be intelligent to work in academia. If this clown didn't see this coming then he may have an IQ south of room temperature.

It’s didn’t help that Corporate America completely betrayed Conservatives. Pro-Capitalist Conservatives have been defending corporations for 150 years and then they got thrown out like trash as repayment.
