Saying the quiet part out loud again: they are using emotions as weapons.
Yeah, everyone should rightfully be thinking: "Hold the fuck up, why are you reaching for a weapon at all?" and pondering what you might do to anyone else who did that in front of you.
If you want the quiet part out loud, read Walter Lippmann's 1922 book Public Opinion and Edward Bernays' 1928 book Propaganda or 1945 Public Relations.
In 2017. But stuff like that should never be forgotten.
Looks like a parody but it’s real. It is true that facts don’t care about your feelings but also feelings don’t care about facts. Case in point being the number of debates I got into during summer of love explaining how many unarmed black men were killed by cops (not getting into whether it was justified or not) but so many people refuse to look at the data. Or the people convinced that Jan 6 was the worst thing in the universe
Tucker Carlson actually did a report on that where he read out all of the black people killed by cops in 2020 (I think the number was 8, with all of them being justified self defense). I tried showing that to one of my hardcore lefty co-workers, then the demanded I show them "unbiased news" before presenting me a CNN article. About a week later I was called into the boss's office because they said I apparently committed a "hate crime" and were threatening to sue everyone. TLDR: they got fired immediately, attempted a lawsuit against us and failed miserably, got countersued successfully for $15,000 for defamation of character, and now work the graveyard shift at a mcdonalds right next to the highway.
Glad to hear they got fired but that sucks you got in trouble. I also love asking the blm virtue signaling people why they don’t care about neighborhoods getting destroyed or all the kids who’ve been gunned down
Adhering strictly to the facts is the only viable way forward for multiracial/multicultural societies. Everyone needs to play by the same exact rules based upon empirically observable data. The moment you allow self-reported data - such as feelings - to determine anything, you are opening the floodgates to highly motivated bad actors who will not hesitate to lie, cheat, and steal in order to outcompete “the other”.
Not surprisingly, leftists long for such a landscape.
Amen
There is no viable way forward for such societies. The only way that a shared sense of reality ever exists stems from homogeneity. The only other way to cohesively stick groups together is by force, such as the united states has right now. And that is plainly dissolving.
Merely admitting what they've already been doing for a decade or more.
Wish everyone was facts over feelings but unfortunately just looking at how people can vote shows this to not be the case.
Feelings still have a massive impact on who obtains power, a person with no plan but strong charisma can win just as much as a person who has all the evidence and knowledge but has been poisoned as the villain by media can lose.
Facts are the most powerful when you are on an equal playing field, but on anything else where you're reliant on others to win, they are secondary.
Feelings cloud your ability to perceive, which makes facts appear differently for you than for someone else. The brain isn't a neutral organ in the slightest.
To discount the power emotions have to strictly adhere to facts is admirable in principle, but a completely losing strategy as shown by the years of Dem growing power. Something more people need to recognize.

This is the drivel I'd expect of an enemy combatant.
Sadly, the article is real if you just punch the title into a search engine.
I swear. They're like horrible oversized toddlers. Except with children you have the expectation that they'll grow out of it to keep you from punting them out to the curb.
I wonder which demographic in our society favours emotions over of logic and facts? Could it be the Jews? Maybe it's the blacks?
Greenwald's latest commentary on censorship, on why "journalism" has reached this nadir, is especially relevant to this bit of absurdity.
Facts don't matter after out vigorous fact checking to make you think you are always wrong is no longer allowed on a social media website.
Just close up shop, you're done. Spouting shit like that and expecting anyone to take you seriously. Clean the Slate.
The places where communists still have power (almost everywhere) are going to be much more hysterical and psychotic starting next week after the Twitter amnesty starts going through.
Well since feelings are reality now, I feel that I should be a multimillionaire.
"I felt he raped me!"
We've been there for a looooong time now.
every single time, brother
