Here is the absolute, unassailable truth: if your elections feature mail-in ballots, drop boxes, voting without photo ID, ballot harvesting, electronic voting, and/or counting after Election Day, then your elections are fraudulent. The end.
All elections should be same day only, in-person only, paper ballot only, photo ID required, hand counted same day under observation. Any deviation from this should be grounds for an immediate audit.
Election days should be federal holidays. The fact that they are not is incredibly damning. Everyone claims that voting is the most important thing you can do, but no one gets the day off work to do it? Meanwhile, we take days off work for stupid shit all the time. This is only this way because people want it this way in order to open the door for fraud.
Not important enough to give people the day off: election day
Important enough to give people the day off: MLK's birthday and Juneteenth
Make grug think
That should be common sense to anyone literate or numerate. The number of votes scales up with population. The ability to count votes also scales up with population. It's basically linear, or actually better because they break up large areas into smaller districts, and then they have people counting in parallel. There's absolutely no reason the counting should take longer than expected. Even in the Clown World election of 2020 where they didn't require people to register (lol), they knew how many ballots were sent out. That would give them an upper limit on the returns. The only way to screw up was through fraud or extreme incompetence which gives us the same result.
This is why I consider anyone who thinks the election was basically fair and accurately reported to be corrupt and a willing participant in the steal.
Expect more “pipes burst”, blocked windows, and counts started conveniently right after all the republican inspectors left.
How come Brazil can count ballots in a much poorer, larger and more chaotic country in a day, while California, Chicago and New York take weeks to count ballots? How hard can it be?
However, I'll go out on a limb and say that Biden is not saying this because he's trying to arrange fraud, but because he doesn't want Republicans to cast doubt on the few Democratic victories there will be on account of their incompetence in being able to count ballots.
Speaking of which, I'm sure all the people who claimed that "Republicans will never win again" will be eating their words come Wednesday, n'est pas?
Look, even the best printers in the world can only work so fast, OK?
That would be "n'est-ce pas?". If you were to only write "n'est pas", then that would translate to: "is not", without a subject, which makes it incoherent in the current context.
Republicans can only win elections if they are in a non-swing county where overturning it with fraud would be too obvious and too demanding, or in swing counties where they are so overwhelmingly popular that it goes beyond expectations and beyond the preparation for fraud that was in place, or in swing counties where there are stricter anti-fraud measures enforced.
As long as Republicans actually take their heads out of their ass and start paying attention to election integrity, they can stand a chance to win. As a non-American, I find it bewildering to see how unsecure their elections are.
Why the fuck is n'est-ce pronounced "nes"? I swear I'd be fluent in French by now if not for the schizophrenic pronunciations.
Cause the "t" is silent.
French is a language that evolved a lot throughout the centuries. Parts of its modern incarnation might seem strange to people first learning it, because of vestiges of Old French that still remain. Also, (and I'm not being facetious, this actually happened) a lot of silent letters you see in words are there because people thought they looked nicer with them there, and those subjective impressions eventually became standard.
But anyways, if you want a language that doesn't add superfluous letters willy-nilly, try learning German. They actually make it a point to pronounce every syllable and letter. I really like speaking it, although it's unfortunate that Germany's primary language is now Arabic, so you're unlikely to get much use from it.
I get that the t is silent, but what happened to the "ce" part? Is that also silent?
Keyed and arete
It isn't silent.
N'est-ce-pas is pronounced, loosely, "Ness-Say Pah".
Certain lazy French accents, the arizonians of the French accent world, will slur the words together, creating something akin to "Nessuh (smashed into one syllable) pah", but the "ce" is still audible compared to "N'est pas", which would be pronounced "Nay Pah", the "s" and the "t" both being silent by english definitions of pronunciation.
No, you do pronounce the "ce".
"Ness-ce-pah", basically.

REEEEEE! I knew that looked off! But as a Eurofag to be corrected by a forum full of Americans, that's beyond endurance. I can only pray that you are from ze best Canada.
But thanks!
I mean, I'm pretty sure they'll surprise in places without being "overwhelmingly popular".
Too much has been banked into "they'll steal elections". Instead of claiming that they will steal elections, wonder why elections are not important enough for them to steal. And that's because Republicans, Democrats, basically the same.
They didn't, and yet I'm pretty sure they will dominate next week.
PHEW.
It's even more bewildering that any attempt to require voter ID is called racist. How come it's not racist in Europe?
That's a good point. There's a sliding scale of Unipartyness, but many of the Republicans who will be easily reelected are the known smarmy RINOs.
I remember seeing election results on Fox News last week, so in some ways, the system is even faster!
Here's a question, how does he know there will be issues if it has not happened yet?
What precognitive function does he have?
I know he doesn't. You know he doesn't. He's just getting ahead of the news that there were issues, because there will be issues.
It's all so damn tiresome.
You need cognitive functions to have precognitive functions.
Maybe he's talking to his beloved buddy, the Beanie Man, so he can prepare his video for when the results come in: "Fair elections guyz, the democrats were just better! Please don't start any conspiracies just because 5 gazzillion votes magically appeared at 3 a.m. Just vote harder next toim!".
before 2020 we always knew who the winner was on the night.
We knew in 2020 as well. Everybody knew what was going to happen when they shut down voting in the middle of the night.
Except in 2000. That ordeal took about 55 days.
Not that it would have mattered. I realize now that both Dubya and Gore are rotten swamp creatures.
Amen
I mean.... just vote harder this time.... :P
Well no one is going to stop him so...
