How come Brazil can count ballots in a much poorer, larger and more chaotic country in a day, while California, Chicago and New York take weeks to count ballots? How hard can it be?
However, I'll go out on a limb and say that Biden is not saying this because he's trying to arrange fraud, but because he doesn't want Republicans to cast doubt on the few Democratic victories there will be on account of their incompetence in being able to count ballots.
Speaking of which, I'm sure all the people who claimed that "Republicans will never win again" will be eating their words come Wednesday, n'est pas?
Look, even the best printers in the world can only work so fast, OK?
That would be "n'est-ce pas?". If you were to only write "n'est pas", then that would translate to: "is not", without a subject, which makes it incoherent in the current context.
Republicans can only win elections if they are in a non-swing county where overturning it with fraud would be too obvious and too demanding, or in swing counties where they are so overwhelmingly popular that it goes beyond expectations and beyond the preparation for fraud that was in place, or in swing counties where there are stricter anti-fraud measures enforced.
As long as Republicans actually take their heads out of their ass and start paying attention to election integrity, they can stand a chance to win. As a non-American, I find it bewildering to see how unsecure their elections are.
Why the fuck is n'est-ce pronounced "nes"? I swear I'd be fluent in French by now if not for the schizophrenic pronunciations.
Cause the "t" is silent.
French is a language that evolved a lot throughout the centuries. Parts of its modern incarnation might seem strange to people first learning it, because of vestiges of Old French that still remain. Also, (and I'm not being facetious, this actually happened) a lot of silent letters you see in words are there because people thought they looked nicer with them there, and those subjective impressions eventually became standard.
But anyways, if you want a language that doesn't add superfluous letters willy-nilly, try learning German. They actually make it a point to pronounce every syllable and letter. I really like speaking it, although it's unfortunate that Germany's primary language is now Arabic, so you're unlikely to get much use from it.
I get that the t is silent, but what happened to the "ce" part? Is that also silent?

REEEEEE! I knew that looked off! But as a Eurofag to be corrected by a forum full of Americans, that's beyond endurance. I can only pray that you are from ze best Canada.
But thanks!
I mean, I'm pretty sure they'll surprise in places without being "overwhelmingly popular".
Too much has been banked into "they'll steal elections". Instead of claiming that they will steal elections, wonder why elections are not important enough for them to steal. And that's because Republicans, Democrats, basically the same.
They didn't, and yet I'm pretty sure they will dominate next week.
PHEW.
It's even more bewildering that any attempt to require voter ID is called racist. How come it's not racist in Europe?
That's a good point. There's a sliding scale of Unipartyness, but many of the Republicans who will be easily reelected are the known smarmy RINOs.
