Always most affected, of course, but at least they've stopped writing "womxn"

So 9/10 journalist being killed are men, but the UN says women journalist are being targeted. SMH.
"We need a higher proportion of women in journalism!"
Forces men out, higher proportion of deaths are now women
"Women are clearly being targeted, look at this increase!"
Intensify focus upon women journalists. We need equality.
A journalist who isn’t hated and critical of the government is a lazy mouthpiece for the establishment.
Why are female journalists doing such a poor job?
Looks like progress towards equality to me. Still a long way to go though before female journalist deaths can rival the mighty male journalist murder rate. Better luck next year, womb havers.
What happens when 9 men die for every 1 woman? Better yell and scream about protecting women, I guess. Women most affected, like always.
I thought that the current term was “people who bleed”.
Makes Arnold's line after the first time they fight off the Predator sound like a policy statement for an anti-feminist hit-squad.
"If it bleeds, it leads"
“If it bleeds, we can kill it.”
Below 50%, what happened to gender equality ladies?
We need to up those numbers. Start sending more AWFL journalists to the Donbas and Afghanistan.
Or just Detroit, Baltimore, etc.
Yet more proof that women's organizations do not consider men human beings.
You obviously have people who follow you around to downvote you in every thread, but what you’re saying here is plainly true. It’s pretty clear who they think the appropriate targets of violence are. It’s telling that they are ONLY talking about the percentage. If the only thing that changed next year was that the number of male journalists killed went up, the percentage of female journalists killed would be lower and they would call it progress.
Do you remember the Mexican protests from a few years ago? Women were all bent out of shape that only 85% of the murders were men.
The response was to have a strike. A day of absence, where women stop doing the things they do: To show the country how much they need women.
The effect of that protest was ... exactly nothing.
Can you imagine if, say, just Male Truck Drivers took the day off? Or Male Police? Or Male Border Guards? Or (gasp) all three? It wouldn't even be 10% of the working men, and the effects on Mexico would be just about crippling.
They achieved their goal then. They showed exactly how much society needs women.
I would love to see calls for men to go on strike until feminist politicians are ousted, but women covered off that angle by putting their people in charge of the unions.
Men don't like men enough to take collective action like that, Imp.
Look up the ingroup-outgroup tendencies of men vs women. "The Women are Wonderful Effect"

Women are over 50% of journalists, so they are being under represented when it comes to murder. https://www.zippia.com/journalist-jobs/demographics/
There's no UN Men (nor Mxn).
True in multiple ways.
Now do homeless people!
Ooh then do Workplace Deaths next! Then Suicides! Oh! Oh! Then Lifetime Net Tax Payments!
Explain how not enough men are being fucked, proportionally!
This feels like satire, please tell me this is satire.
Is it because there are more women in the field? No, it’s because women are in dangers all the time!
There are more women in the field, and still they're vastly underrepresented in the number killed.
Probably in part because they are not as keen on dangerous assignments.
Hey, you take that back! There are so many daring women fashion writers! They take real risks!
Sounds like we need gender equality
