Didn't wilmore already have a show that got cancelled after one or two seasons, same with bee? Also I'm gonna throw this out there and say kenan thompson, as their way of trying to consolidate SNL.
Wilmore tried to replace Colbert with "racebaiting the show" and even the chumps at Comedy Central realized no one wanted to watch it.
See, I remembered parts of it but wasn't sure if it was an actual show or some sort of youtube thing. I know one of his bits was "in a white man's world" where he'd show the perspective of an incident from the white and black man's point of view, where he suggested all white men are racist because they don't like getting their bikes stolen.
Its even funnier, because years prior they had a "black daily show" that wasn't just race baiting bullshit but just a black focused comedy news show.
Comedy Central literally had to have William fucking Shatner pressure them to allow it, and then they cancelled it anyway. Chocolate News never had a chance.

That’s true. I can’t assume and I enjoyed Conan’s stuff but I stopped watching him in early 00s. But you understand why I would assume because if the way that some female comedians are overhyped.
It’s funny I was rewatching Two and a Half Men and every ad is either vampire princess crap or that chick and cackling Clinton

But the timeline works out because I remember Jon Stewart lamenting that he was retiring before really getting an opportunity nightly to shit on Trump.
Jon Stewart honestly quit at the perfect time because the opposite would have happened.
Jon Stewart is definitely one of the people that I'm the most disappointed in that developed full blown TDS.
It takes some reflection now to think back to Stewart's famous appearance on Crossfire with Tucker Carlson way back 15-20 years ago where Stewart was seen as a cult hero for begging Carlson to stop his blind partisanship because he was "hurting America".
Completely agreed.
