I got a link to a Forbes article earlier claiming that Tolkien portrayed Galadriel as a warrior but "you just haven't read enough Tolkien." Basically they just search Lost Tales for any instance of "Galadriel" and "fought" close to each other. Caterina Sforza "fought" the Borjas and Joan of Arc "fought" the British but neither of them ever lifted a sword in anger. Joan's sword never even had an edge put on it.
The thing I hate most about these people is they can't just be like, "yeah we do what we want" they always have to justify it with sophistry.
I can tell you. Admitting what they did turns it from an oopsies or a happenstance into an affront, an attack. Once you've done that, it's okay for someone to counterattack. They want to "accidentally" burn your house down with your family inside. It's cultural arkancide.

For some reason there is elf racism in middle earth now. Everyone hates the elves, and humans straight up call them "knife-ears" which is NOT something anyone would ever feel compelled to say to Tolkien elves lol.
Whenever the elves interact with humans they hide their ears to disguise themselves because they'll be lynched otherwise...even though Tolkien elves are supposed to have an unhidable aura of alieness and beauty.
Oh and the black elf is dating a human healer or blacksmith or something idk what she does but anyway you know...humans and elves dating...the thing that only happened like twice and Eru himself had to like personally bless the union?

Granted elves are pretty OP skillwise but I think Galadriel is at the bottom of list of problems with the Amazon production.
