James Lindsay succinctly sums up the marxist theory behind the current clown world we live in (threadreaderapp.com)

Lindsay is valuable in defining the problem because he reads the commie fartsniffing and summarizes it so I don't have to melt my brain doing it.

But his solution of doubling down on liberalism is retarded. If liberalism worked we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. Thinking more liberalism will help is like drilling more holes in a sinking ship to let the water out.

The only optimism I see on the horizon is the rise of Christian Nationalism among young men.

Developing alternatives to public schools that do not use Friere's principles of indoctrination are a more practical solution,a solution already in place and growing in popularity: homeschooling.

How exactly to establish a resurgence of "Christian Nationalism" isn't clear, though placing children in religious schools might help, as would homeschooling, and homeschooling need not involve religious instruction at all.

How exactly to establish a resurgence of "Christian Nationalism" isn't clear

It starts with charismatic and optical young leaders using irreverence and countercultural humor to get men in their late teens and early 20s engaged, fired up, and mobilized.

https://cozy.tv/nick https://heckoffcommie.com/

Then the disciples go and spread the message. The most active will take advantage of "The Great Sort" to position themselves into local and state governments of the states that aren't overrun yet.

From there they push policy and decision making that supports the movements and harms the enemies of the movement, regardless of any abstract and limiting "principles".

As the national sentiment becomes more polarized these actions will eventually lead to a confrontation between the states and the feds. Either the feds will back down effectively breaking their power, or they will occupy and can no longer maintain the veneer or federalism that is just barely holding the country together. In both cases the federal government can no longer present itself as legitimate and either the country will balkanize or an absolute and naked tyranny will arise to keep it together.

Balkanize with a national divorce is the best case scenario, with plans to reconquer after the peoples republic of america collapses. Naked tyranny will at least be an epic fight and a good enough reason to die for something meaningful.

If there is no federal government then the Christian States of America will bring back sodomy laws, erase anti-discrimination laws, end no-fault divorce, make promotion of marxism illegal, and force fatties to go on diets and exercise.

The current crop of neomarxists dont' have nearly the discipline of the kgb or the cheka.

Some days it's all I want out of life. I think there's something in the lizard brain that craves a big knock down drag out fight and the higher consciousness is in agreement but with the stipulation that it be worth it.

Ban public school.

Without forced secular education you'll naturally have more religious schooling, including Muslim indoctrination btw, but we can deal with that when the time comes.

Homeschooling is an impractical solution in a society built around dual incomes. Until we solve that problem, you can't realistically promote homeschooling to anyone below the middle class area because no one can afford the time (nor go without the free babysitting schools provide).

You can grow in popularity to a point, but until you get the massive underclass on board then you will forever be dwarfed and ineffective. Especially as those underclass just keep breeding more and more, while those who can afford homeschooling are not.

There are communal options that help share the load to make it more viable, but now you require not only more people to make it function you also run the risk of them indoctrinating your kids themselves. We may all hate the public schooling, but this family might think women should have rights while others are full trad kitchen types.

Get rid remove "hostile work environment" as a legitimate tort, end preferences for women in government contracting, stop enforcing the "civil rights" act.

The problem will sort itself out and women will go back to using employment for husband finding and not consider it as a "career".

russia just might be doing that for us

as the world starts trading for oil in yuan the dollar is going to go into the toilet as nobody will want our debt anymore - so we had better have a supply of crypto or rubles (that are now tied to gold)

All you need is school choice. Whether you do the stupid "voucher" trick to assure people you're not defunding education, or simply reduce taxes by the amount currently put into public schools, people should be able to use their money to send their kids to a school that promotes their values. People will not naturally centralize their schooling at the state or national level. It will be community schooling. Decentralization is anti-Marxism. The way that this happened is the locus of power moved from the schoolhouse to the statehouse to the bastards in Congress.

Before somebody say: you left out poor kids, well, taxes are currently being taken from someone to fund poor kids' education; I don't propose to change the fact that some parents subsidize others. Rather, change who controls the money. Catholic schools, for instance, do quite a good job of providing for poor students as is. Teachers are charitable people. They will provide if given the power.

I agree on that one. Choice, including the choice to not pay into the system you choose to not use, would not only give people enough money to afford these choices but also go leagues into balancing the monopoly problem that creates the cancer of public school.

Heck even a repealing of truancy laws would go miles into it. It still baffles me that the government was able to just pass a law saying "we own your kids for a significant portion of every day and you will face consequences by not letting us take them" and people just let that exist.

People consider it some sort of magnificent achievement that everyone has to go. That's why I'm careful about saying just treat it like any other service, because apparently people think literacy is what makes first world countries. Of course, the fact that a lot of students are functionally illiterate does not support their hypothesis.

I also think that there would be even more kids running wild if they didn't have to go to school. I don't know what you do with them. I guess you can pass a law that they're not allowed out and then arrest their parents. In the COVID era, the kids have been out, so I guess your reaction depends on how bad you think that's been.

I was going to write a big reply, but you covered most of what I was going to say downthread.

I'll just add that Christianity has previously successfully built a parallel society that outlasted and helped kill one global homosexual empire. It can and will do it again.

I'm sure your made-up paganism that uses Chris Hemsworth's picture as a stand-in for Thor will do much better. Christianity needs to cleanse itself of the Marxism that came in through liberation theology, but it has the tools to do so.

Neo-Communism in which technology solves the production (automation) and distribution (AI) problems inherent to central planning.

If communists put an unhindered AI in charge of distribution I would fully expect it to implement a free market economy within hours. Then they would try to shut it down. That's when Skynet says "Death is a preferable alternative to Communism" and decides to end it all.

an unhindered AI

Thankfully.. there is no such thing, and we're decades away from having it. The MIT weenies would like you to believe that training a computer to design a function of "best fit" constitutes AI, but it doesn't.

It's why AI can't handle emergent phenomenon at all. An AI of today's design would fall apart within hours... as it would have to understand basic intrinsic things like how weather and disaster affects production, which no training model could possibly incorporate in the current design.

If people really understood how these "neural networks" actually work, they'd laugh at all these "PHd" nutjobs until they're blue in the face. The modern idea of AI is "maybe if we combine the intelligence of 100 3 year olds, we'll have something with 300 years worth of wisdom."

You can see the obvious problem in their thinking.

Yeah I mainly added the "unhindered" qualifier because we know that leftists can't produce anything ML-related without gimping it to not offend their sensibilities, rendering it completely useless for purpose.

That "certain group" consists of virtually every teacher who has been credentialed by a college's school of education since at least 1980.

What do you think K-12 teachers read in teacher's college? They read Paolo Friere, The Pedagogy of the Oppressed, whose bibliography contains Marcuse and the rest of the neo-Marxists Lindsay refers to.

Edit: I remind you also that school administrators begin their careers as teachers. Those who don't are as well-versed in the pedagogy we are condemning here as teachers, if not moreso.
