Boris Johnson actually managed to ruin the strong re-alignment coalition that the Tories created in 2019 by pushing terrible mandates and lockdowns that his globalist masters demanded.
They can’t even do basic, popular things like eliminating the BBC’s broadcast license fee or stopping the government from funding Stonewall. Either of those would have taken minimal effort and zero political capital but Boris seems incapable of actually governing like a conservative.
Same thing in Canada. Some people think removing Trudeau would be the be all end all solution to all Canada's problems forever. Calling the PCs the best chance to beat them while ignoring that the PCs offer no alternative to Trudeau policies. And any resistance has proved to be nothing but hot air.
