It is time to hold the media accountable for killing people
Good luck. By next week the MSM will be spinning the narrative that what happened at the Waukesha Christmas Parade was a tragic accident. Anyone saying anything different will be mocked as a crazy conspiracy theorist and locked out of their social media accounts.
I am not clever enough to figure out what works, just what doesn't.
Trying to financially penalize those who are backed by functionally infinite money is futile if the intent is to punish or disincentivise abhorrent behavior.

The Democratic party is complicit in this as well - outright refusing to prosecute laws on the books. Pelosi encouraged this directly by kneeling to black supremacists and saying she would join them.
I agree that the media sucks, but people are responsible for their own actions. You can’t hold other people or the media legally accountable for free speech, even if it is false information (excluding libel/ slander and other legal exceptions). The left uses the same line of reasoning as this tweet all the time to censor and silence dissenting opinions they don’t like.
There is no way to prosecute them. And at this point, while I think it is good to point out leftist propaganda, it is just demoralizing. We've seen it played out for years with little to no consequence is always heads we lose, tails they win.
Media is definitely pumping them up and should be held accountable. But I agree, this guy is culpable, he wasn't "gaslit", he's just been waiting and hoping like so many violent blacks and thought maybe now he could get away with it.
Only 1 person died at Charlottesville and the dude got hundreds of years in prison while they won't shut up about it till this day.

I was just wondering if the surviving victims and the families of those who died can sue the mainstream media for the handling of the case.
I think people like Joy Reid, LeBron James, and Mark Ruffalo should be sued for inspiring this violence AND criminally charged for it as well.
Taking the media's money does not punish the media. The only deterrent is to actually cause them some form of lasting consequence.
