I love BF1, it is pretty much all I play. This 2042 Beta release isn't even a Beta. It is early access for those that have pre-ordered. They should have allowed everyone to try out the game before making a decision to buy it. Even then I doubt I would have wasted the bandwidth to download a demo. You expect games to improve with time. They haven't.
I learned it was available for Game Pass and EA Play, neither of which I have or want. I don't even pay for Xbox Live through MS, I always buy discounted codes, right now my Xbox Gold Live Subscription is paid up through 2023 I think. Thankfully they still discount the Brazil subscriptions and I know how to use a VPN.
I doubt I will be playing 2042 anytime soon. Though I think the 128 players (64 on each team) could be really epic with the Series X, which I also do not have LOL. Sucks for Microsoft they haven't been able to bait me into spending more money on gaming!
