Small businesses to go under so they can be picked up by conglomerates for pennies on the dollar.

Mmm, cake.

Wait, they're not getting any customers for the cake at this point! 😮

Restaurants aren't really investment opportunities with some exceptions.

Unless they plan to buy them out and then get the clot shot mandates removed. That could work out nicely for them.

Bill de Blasio is a communist, I don't think he cares.

They voted for this, so they clearly wanted to fall under.

I went to a pizza place in Manhattan last week. They had take out, dine in, and outdoor tables. They weren't asking for vax passes for any of it. You want to stay in business, that's how you do it.

That's how you do it. Or you do a half-assed job of it. For example accepting a hand-written note on a napkin that says "I got 2 Pfizer injections" with the person's signature and date on it.

I wouldn't shed a tear if a sudden uptick of wayward bricks found their way through windows

The solution here is mass noncompliance.

People are already skimping out on going to restaurants due to inflation, so mandating medical segregation will in even less people going out. Hope these restaurant owners and workers have a backup plan for the lack of customers.

Don't forget the government paying people not to work, resulting in 15-20 dollars an hour for zero skill labor. No big deal, though; restaurants operate on huuuge margins and can take the hit! ;)

Oh no, Jews have to start paying real wages instead of slave labor rates. The horror. Back to Israel with you.

Ive been to one restaurant that had a vaccine pass. It was only to eat in, so everyone just bought the food and ate out.

They still bought food there. That’s being part of the problem.

Hey, they voted for this insanity. My heart goes out to those that voted against it.

but who am I to get in the way of the democratic process?

Now if enough New Yorkers simply refused to comply with this shit, maybe I could be tempted to care, but they wanted this. They demanded this, and the Democrats were like "what? violate your rights and take more power for ourselves? well if you insist...."

If you see this shit coming, get out as fast as you can, but to those who keep voting for this, sleep in the bed you made.

I dont think all business owners are shitlibs, so youre only assuming that much. theres a fair amount of business owners out here who lean conservative, idk what the breakdown is for NYC. they could have been part of the 36 percent who voted Trump. We really need PROPORTIONAL electorate votes. ~22% is a difference of 100% of the electorate count. if it were proportional, it would have been about 9 for trump and roughly 20 for biden harris.

I'm just saying, if people refused to comply en masse, there's nothing the state could do.

I feel for the people who voted against it. I really do, but at this point, they either need to push back or get the hell out.

I've no pity for the dickheads who voted for and continue to support this tripe, but the sane people need to either step up or get the hell out...

Any gym that enforces that shit deserves to go under.

My gym shut down for all of three months at the start of this thing. They opened back up and pretended to care about masks for a couple months. Now no one cares and it's back been back to business as normal for about a year.

More people need to speak out against these mandates openly and in public. I got kicked out of a mall today for not complying with their mask mandate. The whole time I was hitting them with arguments based off of CDC data and all they could say was "Its the rules"

I was asked to wear a mask, I said would they kick me out if I said no. Manager told me to leave or else he would call security. I said call security. So this store manager tried to loom the threat of security coming to force me to leave then but I just waited.

When security came, the dude had a his cloth mask down under his nose. Myself, the store manager and the mall cop ALL had beards to boot, so no even possibility of getting any kind of seal with a mask to begin with. Tell me why I had to be kicked out again?

"Rules are rules. Got to follow the rules"

I work in NYC, yet live at the Jersey Shore.

I used to eat lunch out at least 2-3 times a week. Since the mandate? Haven’t gone anywhere in NYC aside from work. Not sure who’s enforcing it, or who’s not. I just don’t wish to waste my time and find out.
