This is an old article but the information is still very relevant today. Whenever at least 3.5 percent of a nation's overall population was actively protesting peacefully in the streets it was found that they were successfully able to bring forth change. (archive.is)

What you say is definitely true for the glowy run color revolutions.

There is no such thing as a bottom up revolution. The plebs succesfully taking to the streets is the crystalization of the desired change by a sufficient amount of elites. It's a victory lap, not an instigating event.

maybe the French revolution could be a bottom-up revolution, I believe? Horrific and terrible as it was. Not something anyone really wants, I think.

The leadership of the French revolution was full of lawyers, newsmen, intellectuals, financiers, titled nobility, and military officers. How is that plebian?

More an example of once you release the hordes, you don't have full control over them.

Zanzibar Revolution? A random foreign criminal and a small bunch of black race war communists taking everything by surprise overnight. (Got sidelined later.)

If you are merely standing around, passively holding your signs just out of everyone's way (and basically being all legal and stuff), you'd be surprised how much positive attention you garner; people are far more likely to come inquire about what your cause is, and take some literature after hearing your case presented calmly and logically.

If the press hates your cause they will slander it as ‘right wing’ and ‘violent’ no matter the truth.

Also, if the press loves your cause they will twist the facts to portray it as ‘peaceful’

A lot of that depends on the police as well. Everyone's so used to reports of protests in France turning violent that we're almost jaded. But really, that's not the protestors' fault so much as it's due to the French cops resorting to tear gas every time someone in the crowd sneezes.

How well did the lockdown protests work?

They NEED to constantly try to divide regular people against each other. They need to keep the people divided so they can keep their power.

They constantly make people focus on racial differences: White vs Black. Sex: Men vs Women. Political differences: Red vs Blue or Age: Boomers vs Zoomers/Millenials

The main distinction that truly matters and the distinction that people are not focusing on is regular person vs the ruling establishment elite.

America is currently so polarized along various identity politics lines and nothing could be better for them than that.

They NEED to constantly try to divide regular people against each other.

Regular people are divided. The proverbial they are simply taking advantage. Fully a third of the people in our borders right now quite simply aren't real Americans. Hell, why do you think they keep importing barbarian foreigners? To displace, dispossess and eventually destroy real Americans.

It's the first principle of nationalism. A nation is the people. Less Americans, less America. You cannot have a nation without a coherent people either.

The main distinction that truly matters and the distinction that people are not focusing on is regular person vs the ruling establishment elite.

I make no distinctions between a leftist politician and the people who put him/her/it into office. They are all equally guilty, and equally enemies of the free people of the United States.

So what happens when your nation has five or ten different factions holding mutually exclusive values and each faction is capable of generating that 3%?

Never-ending strife and turmoil.

You've just stumbled upon the reason why multicultural nations inevitably fracture, fail, and collapse.

And no, this tribalist behavior isn't some scheme concocted by the elites to manipulate and control us. People have always been this way, and they will always be this way. The "scheme" is forcing diversity through mass immigration in the first place. Once the demographics are fucked, the chaos flows freely - and no amount of holding hands and praying to MLK is going to fix it. The process is irreversible - assuming the natives are too "civilized" to do what must be done.

Diversity + proximity = war.

This is why we use archived links. Of course the BBC has an agenda.

They want to astroturf protests in favor of the ruling elite's authoritarian pet projects such as carbon credits and "equity".

They don't want a meaningful amount of people united against them.

They want a large segment of the population working as useful idiots for them.

I did not even notice it was the BBC, only the 'Future' thing.

Yes, good for you for archiving.

it didn't really apply to HK did it? and 3.5% protesters against globalists with the strongest determination to create their one world government? a lot of globalist plans have been going on for many many decades spanning around many many countries to replace , demoralize and destroy the sovereignty of the people to eventually bring about a one world government. They wont stop

Well the rona completely stopped the HK momentum.

Globalists obviously have a massive advantage as the ruling establishment elite.

Anyone going against them was always going to be a uphill struggle.

I am not saying we are guaranteed to win.

I am saying as long as we don't completely give up by choking on the blackpill we are not guaranteed to lose.

Hong Kong was basically a city on a Peninsula, it was never going to succeed because there was no-where for anyone to go.

The problem is its so difficult to organize protests that aren't approved of by social media companies. I would love to go to an anti lockdown protest

The cabals have ine systemic problem: Once awake, always awake. That said, our number us growing.

permalink save report block reply

– current_horror 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

This only applies to the subset of people who are harmed by the cabal. The people who are bribed with power will never "wake up", and the even larger number of people who are bribed with money will go along with the cabal forever. In fact, dangle some gibs in front of the poor and desperate, and you've got yourself legitimate foot soldiers who will murder for your cause. And there is no lack of poor and desperate in the world. You can import tens of millions of them if necessary.

Point being: it doesn't matter how many middle class whites wake up. The elites are swinging hammers made up of billions of poor and desperate people, and those people are happy to be swung. They never had a chance against the elites, but they can invade and takeover the middle class no problem with support from those same elites.

categorical bullshit. Elites are drivers of change. A rabble, regardless how small or large, never accomplishes anything. Popularity of a change is just post-hoc conformity.
