maybe the French revolution could be a bottom-up revolution, I believe? Horrific and terrible as it was. Not something anyone really wants, I think.
The leadership of the French revolution was full of lawyers, newsmen, intellectuals, financiers, titled nobility, and military officers. How is that plebian?
