Biggest telltale sign? They're not serving them in fancy restaurants, the rich aren't lining up to eat bugs.
Also, obvious native ad is obvious, AP is an ad service.
I thought AP was those guys who showed up to work as journalists and listened to literal rockets being shot off beside them and went "naaah, probably not important to know anything about that..."
Yep, they want the plebs to do something, the rich had better do it first, so that the sheeple will want to ape them, that-korean-song-style. I mean, it's basically the reason behind the bewildering popularity of wall-to-wall carpeting, and "the perfect lawn".
For Hamas.
We can't eat wild-caught fish over certain lengths because environmental pollution in microscopic amounts "adds up". We also have to wash our produce because of dangerous-to-us levels of pollutants and poisons... But the bugs are okay to eat wild?
Like, even aside from the "eat the bugs, peasant", it seems odd. If the plants are dangerous to eat, and the things that eat the plants that are fish are dangerous to eat, why are the things that eat the plants that are insectoid okay to eat?
Wait until you see the medical requirements for any drug prescription besides marijuana.
Have you seen what insecticide-filled bugs do to birds that ingest them? It's not pretty.
Also (surprise) it turns out the environmental cost of eating meat is greatly exaggerated
Excellent video.
Why wouldn't they? They've made huge strides on "Live in your pod", it's only logical...
How much hand rubbing goes on after articles like that get released?
I wish I could say this was a NWO/Globalist bullshit, but, sadly, it's just the fad diet/buzzword headline for clicks.
"I hear something about these people mining homeless Indians hairy assholes for the latest weightloss wonder food....says here, Dingle Berries. Who wants to try this one?"
...Stop bugging me.
The only bugs I eat of the water dwelling pincered variety.
I'm not against bugs as an option, but nobody pushing it seems to understand the logistics that would be necessary to actually produce them in a Safe, efficient manner. It's all just pfaffy "oooh, try this recipe, oh bugs are a normal food in "X" country, it's better for the environement!" all ignoring how hard it is to keep bugs clean while farming them, how it's currently impossible to scale any of the methods to anything approaching the necessary level of production to make it profitable on a mass scale, basic stuff.
We aren't going to get mass produced bug-based food for at least a decade at best, and even then it will be like plant based foods were ten years ago, more expensive and only available in the big or fancy stores.
I am, because everything that you start permitting will eventually become mandatory - or they're going to make real meat so expensive that you either have to be a vegetarian or eat bugs.
'Member how fast they went from "pls some tolerance for us poor trangenders" to "CASTRATE YOUR SON, BIGOT"?
Bugs have already been an option forever - just go grab them. I'm not worried about bugs becoming standard menu item in restaurants and affecting the market when even vegans have trouble finding vegan-friendly choices.
Well, as I said, Africa can quit crying whenever locusts show up.
They can eat the fucking locusts.
eaten ze bugs.
We're not cavemen we don't need to eat bugs
In my 40-plus years on this planet, I've seen several cicada broods hatch out. It always makes for an annoyingly long summer. I know they're edible, but I decided a loooooooong time ago that there's no way in hell I'd ever do that when I saw our barn cats catching the things and chowing down. The CRONCH CRONCH CRONCH sound, combined with seeing a still-kicking leg sticking our of one of their mouths, will forever be etched into my brain.
So no, I won't eat the damn bugs, and no amount of propaganda can change my mind on that front. AP and the wokies can go choke on their cicada pie.
more low-hanging fruit for south park
Whatever happened to yeast farms as the food source of the future? I can't believe 50s pulp sci-fi got it so wrong....
you first, chaim.
Live in the pod. Own nothing. Be happy.
Leaving the other things aside, isn't there a danger that people would substantially damage the cicada population?
Yeah.. once people start eating them, the same assholes will say that the cicadas are being endangered because of humans.
Bugs are for the poor folks. Eat the bugs, peasant!
You will eat the bugs. You will love them. Love big brother. It's the best for you.
