Having regret should mean that they're capable of introspection, and I'm fairly positive that our primary enemies cannot introspect.

Gen Z is as Left-wing now as Millennial are right now. Every generation is at their absolute most leftist at around age 18-25. From that point on, they move right-wing slowly and steadily for the rest of their lives.
That would make it sound like pretty much everyone should just be conservative... but the trick is that each generation is at least 5-10 points more Leftist at 18 than the previous generation was at 18. However, Gen Z i, at 18 equally as Leftist as Millennial at age 30. That is the first time since the statistics have been kept going back to the Silent generation where the latest generation is less leftist at 18 then their predecessors were at 18.
This means that Gen Z at 18 is around 2-3 points less leftist then Millennials, when the trend should be that Gen Z should be 10 points more Leftist than Millennials.
That is, without question, a massive change in ideology among the youths. Millennials might be the high-water mark of Leftism. I wouldn't be surprised if Gen Z+1 is 5 points less Leftist than Gen Z.
I haven't even gotten into the point that White Leftists have a demographic replacement rate of something like 0.3, while White Conservatives have a replacement rate of 2.1
